experienced SAU guys swear by NGK's

This could be the ignitor or even cas. Most likely the ignitor. How long has this car been running, is this a brand new swap? What have you changed since the last time it ran well, assuming it ever did?fuel pump manufacturer? fuel pressure gauge? Is the car at WOT when it takes a crap at 6K rpms, does it matter what position the throttle is at?

if i put the throttle 1/2 way it will go to 8000 rpms with no problem.but if i go 1/2 throttle and then full throttle i back fires and then run like $hit....my tps at full throttle is 3.61v and just seting is .42v

try riching it up at 11.5:1 at the RPM is start breaking up at. What fuel pump do you have? might need a better one.

this is why you should fix serious problems like this before upgrading thing. All that does it complicates the issue. Sounds like bad grounding now if it did it on the stock turbo

When you finally find what is causing this, b/c I would like to know. My rb20 swapped s13 does the same thing, only no backfiring.

sounds like bad grounds still. Could be the grounds to your coilpacks

you could have 100 grounds on the motor. Still doesnt mean the ground to your coilpacks is good

You might want to take your motor apart now. Reving to 8k rpm with the cam off one tooth prolly messed some **** up

did you reset the timing with the cas/timing light and reset the ecu after fixing this? it might still br trying to compensate.
