my radio wont work fuses are good!!!!

i blew my main fusible link last week got it fixed car runs now but the radio wont work the fuses seem to be fine could i of blown the deck????? or is there a fusible link for the radio everything else in the car work interior lights ect,ect,ect please help thanx.....

is there power at the power wire in the back of the stereo? if you got power to the stereo but it doesn't come on, it's a bad stereo

Same thing with my radio/in dash for the past days it only turned on wen it wanted to and when I went to go to work it didn't turn on or anything I checked the fuses there all good what could it be?

Check this above first.

Pull the head unit out and find the 1) constant hot and 2) ignition hot wires... They should have 12v + when the key is on. If these wires do indeed have power, then the radio it what is broken...

Unless you also have amps. If the head unit comes on but you can't get any sound, then you have to check the wires leading to the amps just like above - check to make sure the wires leading to the amp(s) are powered... If so, you may have a broken amp.

ya as the above said pull the radio out. go here with instructions on how to do that. The wireing diagram is in that thread use a multi meter to test the voltage of the wires. 300zx-stereo-installation-write-up-t572341.html
