I haven't touched the shop yet, I got back at 8PM last night & spent today unpacking & reorganizing the house.

Tomorrow I will sneak into the shop & see if I cant match the RB25 bolts & rod length to the Altima one.

That blows man, sorry for your loss. Maybe you should look at some other options. Im kinda at a point now where Im feeling like selling my RB. I worked on it for so long and I have nothing to show for it really, and even if it was running Id just keep dumping money into it 10k would become 20k and it just seems like a poor investment for someone as young as myself. Id get screwed out of a lot of money if I sold it not running so Im still searching everyday for an ECU. Ill have to make up my mind when I get to drive it more than I have, I never even really hit boost the one time I got to drive it (cause I found out at the first stop sign the brakes didnt work to well lol)

lol!i need to find a KA locally this week in Tampa, Fl. My 626 daily driver just had a hole blown through the block the size of a softball. I'm gonna try to get a motorset from someone and put this thing on the road for a while. This might be an opening for a possible KA-T a little later. I'd do it nameless but I'm still tossing around a few things right now. I just gotta focus on getting a daily driver back now. Anyone have something laying around?KA? transmission? anything? I don't have anything except a shell really.

I have 2 1989 KA24E's laying around, one needs a head gasket the other no clue. They are yours for free if you want them. They have auto trans attached to them. I will not arrange shipping, you gotta figure that out.

I might have to get back with you Jon. Thanks you so much for the handout. I would be interested in the one NOT in need of the head gasket. i can get the shipping together also. What method do you prefer for ship? I am also going to keep an ear open for some replies from Florida sellers. Give me a couple days, and I'll get back with you, Thanks again. You're the man!

HOw did you pay for it? If you used a credit card then your first line of defence is the credit card company. THEN Ebay has a fraud protection policy. They WILL get your money back.

dude, that sucks!! these are the reasons I am glad I got rid of my rb powered 240sx! it just costs so much! I had over 10k put into mine and it was pretty nice and all but the cost for this swap just isnt worth the performance! right now I have a boost designs stage 3 kit for my ka it comes with every thing you need! minus an exhaust, ecu, and head gasket,it cost me $3500 I got a junk yard ka engine for $200 bucks and I am going to tear it all down and build it up with this kit! and the best part about all this! its 50 state legal! I would do a rb swap again if the price goes down on both the motors and swap stuff but untill then I am going ka-t!!!!

That really sucks man, i'll tell you it's all about listening to the people who know more cause it's pretty easy to get burned. I've been thought this all myself back when i started my 240 project i tried to get an engine through flashoptions because they had such low prices, little to say a month goes by and nothing come and then they are also telling me it's not going to come to my door and it hasn't shipped yet, along with reading posts about how they scam added to the problems. end of the story, i had a lawyer in Singapore contact flash telling them i was going to sued them and while they had to pay for a lawyer i got mine for free. then i got about 95% of my money back and walked away. NEVER TAKE GREAT DEALS...somethings usually not right about them....anyways good luck getting your money back, you can contact the phone company to try and track down their address sometimes cause they would have to have a credit card listed or some place where bills are sent. good luck

Whoever said Canadians dont carry guns is right, and they are (for the most part) a little less "aggressive" than us Americans.

Trust me I lived in Canada for 2 years, its a fact.

Also, PDM Racing is the shizzle
