I always liked the look of those "BMW style" headlights with the lighted rings.

Definitely a VERY hot Q. The Wide tires/wheels look great!

I got them from a guy in Brooklyn. The job was custom because the lights did not completely fit. I had them for awhile I was just waiting until I it was time to paint the car.

Jeff-

I will shoot you a e-mail if your serious. They ran me $400

Two years ago someone told me that 5-series BMW lights would fit the early Q. They were from Brooklyn too... I can't see your first two pics either. Hope you can take some close up shots too. Nice looking car in the last shot.

The front of that Q looks exactly like the Lincoln LS, which I happen to think is a very hot looking car. Awesome!

Here is the deal if you can get from from the junk yard or from the BMW dealer but you may be looking at 400 or so a light. The quarter panel will have to be manipulated....ok customized to fit exact.

I believe the year is 98 to 02. J- not sure what you mean. The only minor thing was a rubber strip had to be made for the gap between the bumper and the light. I have to pull one of a old maxima one day. Ooh also a harness will have to be made for the lights. I will try post some day light picks.

I ordered my thru one of my mechanics connects. He was in Guana and I acted like I was a worker in his shop. Then I paid the guy he had baby sitting the shop for the delivery. Lol

When I had some work done to the Q I inquired about the lights last year and was quoted $650. At that time I was not ready yetI will find out if they have more and see if I can get some better prices if there is enough intrest.

Looks like they came from an E39 (last gen). By the way, those look great. How about some daytime pics to see how clean the install is.

Looking at some 2002 5 series on ebay, there are some good front view shots to help you see how close theya are. I think the side may need some massaging, but you won't really know until you have them in your hands, as he did.

Interesting mod.

Here's a pair of the NON-xenon on ebayhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1

Those are very nice. Seems to me that they look better than the crystal lights from Japan.

Please show us some more pics from other angles and in the daytime.

When I see the headlights on your car, I think BMW took some styling cues from the 94-96 Q. The shape is very close.

They look to be close in size to 94-96. The side closest to the grill looks like it wouldn't fit the 90-93's.

Q45CALIBER,

When are we going to see some daytime photos of the car with the new headlights?

I was looking at the BMW E39 headlights on eBay and noticed that they have a removable lens.

I was thinking that maybe it might be possible to just modify the headlights instead of messing with the fender on the Q.

If you can show us what the side of the car looks like, especially where you modified the fender, it would be nice.
