and here is a pic of him making a mold of the lights. he's making a mold so he can make a fiber glass piece and use just the round part of the tails.

Sky, nice progress. Any ETA on when it will be back on the street? I may come down and check it out at some point. I lived in Macomb for about 5 years and still have really good freinds in that area so I am down there on occasion. Jacksonville is just a short roadtrip away.

BTW. there is a place you have in town that does really nice powdercoating work. I had him do a bunch of pieces for me when I lived down there.

What body shop is doing your work? Looks pretty badass IMO. Good quality bodywork is hard to find anymore..

yeah the guy that owns the shop is the only one that works on the cars, it takes longer but you get his quality and not some kid working for him. Five or six cars he's done were in Hot Rod and a few were cover cars.

It's hard to say when, but I'm thinking 5-6 months, When it's done, you're more then welcome to come down and check it out. You have to remember the shops name cause I was going to send my stuff off to have powdercoated, but if there's a shop here in town that does good work the I'd rather do that.

Did you get it from the company in france or did you buy it off somebody in the USA? and when do you get it, and when are you going to put it on? I bought my rims from Jacquemond the same time I bought my kit. they are 18x11 and 18x9, I'm not sure about the offset(I forgot) but it's negative something.

i think i'll have it in the middle of june, but maybe i wait until the winter to fit it, guess it'll be a lot of work,

and i also want to put an rb25det into my car, a look like that deserves a good sound too, AND i am tired of the low torque in my ca18det with a big turbo on it.

i've ordered it from Olivier Jacquemond in france yeah.does he offer rims too? he never said that to me, maybe i should ask him about that

well when I bought the kit a couple years ago, he had rims on his site but he took them off so I don't know if he still offers them or not.

well, he still has to do a custom job on the front bumper, he has to do the side skirts, the roll cage, finnish interior for paint, build me a custom wing, ect...

then he has to make sure everything is perfect!..lol....but seriously, my body man won't settle for nothing less then show quality, plus I'm still waiting on parts from Japan, hood, cf rear diffuser, fuel cell, ect...

and my body man isn't working full time on my car, he has two other cars a head of me, and works on mine part time.(plus it's only him in the shop) so I'm guessing 5-6 months for paint. Works for me, gives me more time to come up with more money for my project!
