By the way, i am selling my pistons, they are 86.00 bore (stock), forged, and will fit any SR20 engine, the can hold @ 400hp ... They are perfect, and diden't ran under high afr on boost or stuff like that...i'm seling them because i'm getting a 2.2 strocker kit :dblthumb:
one piston has some small imprints on it, because a spark plug electrod had brocken in the combustion chamber, but the engine ran perfectly after that on the Pulsar and after that on my car.

quick question.... if you bought the stroker kit and are going to be replacing the "better" internals, why didnt you just get a rwd sr20 and stroke it, would have saved time and effort doing custom mounts....

other than that looking good so far (except for the "drifting" but to each his own)

Yeah, my first thought when he posted for sale. Still want to see the FWD SR in there.

The GTI-R has solid pivots, and has wider angle camshafts, itb's, the intake is more angled tword the intake valves,(beter gas flowing)thoes japaneese that invented this engine are not stupid i'm teling you  ....but i am having second thoughts about the strocker kit....it's for the silvia, an it has 17mm wide bearings, compare to this one that has 19mm, and even from a 2.0l like this one, and it's stock internals people pull an easy 450-500 whp...that good know what at the flyghweel....and that's no s*** ! i've seen at least 10 cars like this...my target is 400 whp, wich is safe for this engine it's enough for drifting here in romania and eaven at king of europe events...WHY WASTE MONEY ?

The engine was mounted on the car, and ran perfectly ;)

So other than the adapter for the trans, what other, if any, issues did you come across?

Like the Dizzy. Anything better or worse using this motor than the RWD version?

Also did I miss something? You already put it in? I saw vid of CA18 in the hatch, but when did it have the GTi-R? Have a picture of it fully assembled in the car?

Nop..never made a picture with the engine in, the video with the CA was made in september, i've mounted the GTI-R in int after that, another problem is that sthe gti-r has the spark distribuitor, wich need to be mounted in the firewall, and that.s the reason it needs a stand alone ecu, so you can mount individual coilsand you need to make another colector in front of the itb's, cuz the original one has the intake in the back and sticks out through of your hood. The engine was mounted with a MS1 first, but i sold it and i'm geting a MS2 cuz it's more coplex. what i noticed was that this engine has much more torque than the s14 engine and that is much more smoother, cuz of the itb's

Yeah, that what I was waiting to hear about. Thank you. I figured the Dizzy was gonna be hitting something.
