I know, I was asking if you were doing a DITY.

Offutt AFB.
Oh. Lol. Sorry. I guess they are now actually called PPMs. But I'll always call it dity. Lol. I've never heard of that base, where is it? My brothers in the AF and stationed in Missouri. He seemed to like Alaska more. I would have picked Oki or Japan but I didn't get any say.

Omaha, Nebraska.

It's actually a terrific base in a great town surrounded by corn... could be worse

Omaha is a beautiful city... very underrated.

I'd consider living there if it weren't for the occasional severe weather.

Could definitely be worse, like Altus.

Def NASCAR style. The guy hauled a chevy truck in it before so my kouki will be way easier to fit than that. And after I jump out I'm going to fill up the drivers seat with stuff. Lol.

Could def be worse. I spent a few months at lejuene and I can't say I had much fun.

So I just got my Bully Dog triple Dog tuner an I must say I love it. It has gauges for almost anything that your vehicle monitors but doesn't show. It also retuned for more power and also remaps transmission shifts and how hard it shifts. It installs easily and is a decent size to be useful but not too big. I'll def be using the trans temp and coolant temp on my trip. Also the read outs are in hard numbers and not just a gauge. Apparently the power increases are huge if used on a diesel rig.

Small update with pics to follow tomorrow: Well I got all of my parts installed. I added more upgrades than I had originally planned. But the Burb is running strong and has a bit more power for the hills I am sure to encounter.

Previous upgrades installed before I started this crazy plan.

K&N Filter charger kit. Actually works well. According to my Bullydog gauge as long as I am moving my intake air temp stays at about 2 degrees warmer than outside temp.

Clarion DVD nav with back up camera and Ipod connection. Also have a rear TV and VD player so that I can have my Ipod while the kids have their movies. Could have a better menu and the NAv is wrong occasionally.

Foose DF-6 wheels. Love these wheels. Will be putting on the stockers for the trip to retain the benefit of having a 3.73 rear.

New upgrades.

EBC greenstuff supreme Pads at all 4 corners and cross drilled and slotted rotors. Like them a lot. Stops sure and straight. Havent seen any fade. My rotors are huge to start with so braking should never be a problem. Made a horrible grinding sound for the first mile or two.

Bullydog triple dog GT tuner. Love this thing. Monitors every parameter on the truck with accurate read outs and graphs. Also the Tune seems to have really woken up my Gasser and makes the trans shifter firmer and faster. Also it calibrates for different wheels and different gearing.

Curt reflex Brake controller. Seems to work well and easy installation.

Magnaflow cat back. Love the rumble and doesnt drone. Seems to allow the K&N to breath a little better. Would have liked to get headers and better Cats but didnt have time.

Brake and power steering fluid flushed and refilled with synthetic.

Front and rear diff fluid flushed and filled with Mobil 1. 12 bucks a quart.

Trans and transfer case flushed and filled with Castrol synthetic blend DexVI.

Oil change with mobil 1. I love that Walmart has it in 5 quart jugs for $25.

Had my Weight distributing hitch and anti sway bars welded onto my trailer.

Replaced headlights Low and high beam with 55 watt 6k HIDs.

Replaceed all bulbs with LEDs. My trailer has electric brakes so it draws a lot when stopping.
