Greddy intake mani makes working on your car 1000000000000x times easier.

And taking the intake mani off takes 30 minutes.

hahahaha so far me and the 2 friends that have swapped sr's into our cars on our own have had a hell of a time getting the oil filter off that came shipped on the motor. Reason is a lot of these motors sit for god knows how long and it gets crusted on. When doing my friends s14 swap it took us almost 3hrs to get the damn oil filter off. stabbed it with a screw-driver a million times. And there were no filter wrench's available we could find that fit into that tight *** spot. Ended up having to remove the alternator on my friends s14 motor to get the damn thing off. For those of you who never had a problem you're lucky. But after that as long as u make it hand tight, there's no problem for any future occurances. Just make sure the motor is cool or u got a glove before u go reaching down in there. Just wanted to give the original poster a heads of from my own experience. Might as well make things as easy as possible because something almost always goes wrong or causes delays...thats just how it is.

I knew someone was gonna do that...

I was not referring to the model number of the oil filter, simply the kind with the nut on the side...

Sorry Mike, I have been having trouble with my camera as of late.....I'm rockin' no PS for good now, I love the feel of the road. I'm going to try to get it working tomorrow. She's not as clean as I want it to be, but we are getting there slowly....If I get it working I'll post a bunch of pics in the 240&Silvia forum....She still has a ways to go though.

Good job, Mike!

I swear you're probably the most eager to get down and dirty car guy I know. I know what I'm doing and all but I get so frustrated so easily if there's the *slightest* bs problem, especially when I'm hustling a few hundred pounds of motor over the a-frame or ive got the underside of the car 3" from my face

again, good job
