Gee, another previously-banned member.

You're stupider now than you were the last time around.

Greg is the Hitman.....and he took him out. The thread where he was acting like a total jackhole was erased from the forum.

it's a california thing.cant tint the front windows.

cops want to be able to see in.

most will tint the front very lightlythen go a little darker on the side'then darker on the rear.

I keep the inside curtains up all the time to increase the tinting effect

How am I being childish? I was just covering all my ends cuz u guys always seem to belittle everyone for having ideas that are not the same as yours...

Perfect example, hitman bashed on maneater cuz he said my car looked good, he did nothing wrong yet he gets called an idiot or whatever he said, yet for some reason nobody calls him childish or immature, why is that? Or is it just because everyone is afraid to stand up for themselves due to him having the power to ban you haha... Its just a website, who cares, if u can't even stand up for yourself to people on a computer then what kinda person are u

And for the other guy.. Umm DC as in the shoe company? U must not get out much lol

But anyways like I stated earlier there are a couple new pics I took this morning although it rained last night the car is still mostly clean

No offense but why not go back to Azhitman AKA Greg and explain to him that your ready to come back rather than signing up for another account?

It just looks better for you if you go that route.

But, your car looks nice with that sticker there, reminds me of my first Q.

well the car still runs great starts right up every morning... the gas gauge still kinda jumps around on me a bit so its hard to get an accurate reading on my mpg, but ive only filled up 2 times since ive had it so not bad i suppose

the transmission malfunction warning still comes on when u start the car but i think thats just cuz of the 1st gear start.. idk

in the morning or when its colder the moon roof is a pain in the @$$ to get to open and close.. other than that everything is all hunky dorey lol

and as for why i wont go talk to him... because ive read alot of his other posts and he abuses his power just cuz he can, and i dont like it.. so im ont going to apologize to him because i dont think i did anything wrong

i started a thread and asked a couple of questions and i get bashed on by half the site and nobody says anything but when i stood up for myself all of a sudden i was immature and childish and i get banned? thats b.s. and i dont wanna deal with it.. but thanks on the compliment.. i wash her and give her the ol' black magic treatment once a week

Can we maybe just bury it and move on?

The transmission malfunction has a LOT of possible causes. It doesn't often mean there's anything wrong with the transmission. Could be FPCU, fuel pump, MAF, etc.

Really I how can it have anything to do with the FPCU, MAF, Fuel pump ect?

I don't think those are monitored by the TCU.

Yea I would like to know this too, cuz if it does affect those parts then that's just more stuff I have to look into buying, and they aren't cheap either lol

Well the MAF and FPCU you can get from a junk yard or used. For the MAF, just remove the little cover on the top of the MAF to see the board and for the FPCU, just undo the screws.

But you must look for burn marks or just something that doesn't look right if so then walk away.

I have 2 good FPCU (1 in the trunk and another stored away)

one good MAF because the other 3 were crap that I had.

And one used fuel pump as a useless spare.

Phil, are you kidding me?

No one asked you whether you thought you did anything wrong. Everyone who gets banned thinks they're a "victim"... Five years of doing this, I've seen it a thousand times.

I don't "abuse" anything. You come in my place of business and poop on the floor, you're gonna get your nose rubbed in it. I don't do it in your house, you're not gonna do it in mine.

I don't give a rat's a$$ what you like or don't like.

Fortunately for you, I'm in a good mood this morning, or you'd be IP banned and reported to your provider for circumventing a ban.

p.s. Your issue is most likely the TPS. Common part to fail on the Q, and will give a virtually untraceable transmission malfunction indicator. Self-diagnostic will NOT reveal that anything's wrong, which points towards the TPS. Try testing a known good TPS on the car and see if it clears up.

Sunroof: Clean it. Most of them were never maintained, and the motors can get gummed up. I had a couple spare OEM sunroof motors in my garage but I think I sold them... Either way, a good cleannig and relubing of the tracks is usually helpful for a sluggish sunroof.

Ask maneater.

TPS = Throttle Position Sensor.

If you haven't done it, you need to read the FSM. Just to prove that I'm not a jackass, here it is, all $150 worth: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Q45

Have you opened the sunroof and looked at the mechanism? You're gonna need some solvent, some washcloths and some good lithium grease.
