do you have a link to the manual rack??

thats a sweet color. dont get 92's. everyone has them. thats a rare color 240 dont ruin its rarity by putting some of the most common rims on it lol.

What lip are you referring to? Can you draw around it in the picture. If it's what I think you are talking about- you DO NOT WANT TO DO IT! It will seriously inhibit the strength of it and you will put your car in a ditch or worse!

it is not pictured in any of those pictures

it is the rlca, the one with the ball joint in it. it seems as though the bushing has a lip that will only allow it wo be pressed out in one direction and it is the opposite direction that the press can handle

well, it has been a long time since my last update. i have been really busy lately

i have gotten some stuff done though.

painted suspension components, i still have to do the fronts

painted diff

got some braided brake lines, and hawk pads(not pictured)

got the solid subframe bushings put in, and the entire thing painted

i still need to paint the front suspension components, figure out how the hub assemblies come apart so i can get new lug studs and paint everything, paint the axles, press all the new ball joints in, put the bushings in and reassemble.

heyguysdue to what seems lack of interest i have not been keeping up to date on my thread. i have gotten my suspension build done for now. i still have a few things left to do, but my daily driver gtp started ticking, i think its a lifter, and it needs a trans in the worst of ways, so i wanted to get the 240 back on the ground so i can drive it. i still need to get new lug studs and nuts, and paint the front lip. im going to pull the motor over winter and over haul it, and install my new clutch, and hopefully paint, maybe by the end of the summer.

Parts ready to be installed

painting the rims. i used the dupicolor system and it came out really well

brake calipers painted

subframe and diff up. that was a pain, but its up and in. i hope those bracket things for the front aren't a necessity, because i left them off

front and back done

exhaust came with a bent tip, they refunded me $40 and i bent it back

my brand new line leaked

right off the jackstands, first trip around the block

all cleaned up and looking good

ngr wheel, momo hub i absolutely love it

overall impressions, its REALLY stiff, but i like it like that. the diff clunks on and off power, but i have read thats normal. the exhaust sits crooked which kind of bugs me. it is not very loud with the silencers in, and sounds real good w/o them in. im leaving them in though. but over all i am VERY pleased with it
