Cleaaaaaannnn! Cleaner than mine anyway. Thats a big turbo youve got on there too.

I would also reccomend throwing that timing belt cover back on there. I have an aluminum under panel and I still find stuff that has made it up in the engine bay.

Oh, and interesting place to mount the coil. Do the tops of the plug wires clear the hood? I tried test fitting mine there and the Mustang GT wires I am using didnt want to clear.

Yea we made a special bracket that the coil sits in and the hood closes fine. Im using 4.6L Thunderbird wires and they even fit so that I can still use the cover over the plugs.

suprisingly enough its a ssac manifold with a turbonetics t3/t04e. I was relieved to see it fit so nicely also.

Thunderbird wires, I had forgotten about that option. Too late now I guess. When do you plan on having that thing up and running?

Awesomeness. Tuning it yourself or are you having someone do it for you? Seeing as I am not too far from you I may need to come check that beast out sometime.

those 3 relay things are called the Relay Box. This is a box that is meant for people who want to megasquirt but their cars never came with EFI or relays. Its pretty much to convert old cars to new. Why he got that I do not know, he really only needed to tap into 1 relay source and thats the fuel pump relay.

As for that box thing where the vacuum goes, thats his coilpack. Its a FORD EDIS-4 4 tower 2 coil bound coilpack.

Heres mine attached in the cockpit.

If you have any questions regarding MS and EDIS go to my walktrough/write up heres the link.

Make sure that the bracket, is attached at a source thats grounded, and that it grounds the coilpack. If you look at the coilpack the holes where the screws go are metal contact points. Some people say its not important but I've seen people post problems from the coils in higher rpms and most of them time it was because the coil wasnt grounded. Plus the FORD Escort FSM says the bracket provides a ground so I grabbed the Escort bracket and attached it to my firewall since thats grounded, and just to make sure its good I attached another ground.

From what ive seen with other things on my car not being properly grounded, I would say its probably fairly important. No biggie though, you can just attach a lead to one of the holes and run a ground wire to the earth's crust or something.

Main reason I did the relay box is simplicity. I think it looks cleaner, and its less wires to run since they are just going to the firewall.

can't really tell from the photos, but looks as if you managed to retain the front pulley ring (power steering), instead of machining it down to accept the trigger wheel. If so, did you tack weld it on from the rear side ?
