okay well look here. i always run into problems. i tried to install my subs and amp into my Rogue (bose setup)orijin wrote:kazzan - These leds were all purchased from V-Leds.com. I did them myself they are pretty simple modifications that requires a flat head screwdriver for the interior dome and map lights and to remove the air intake under the hood to change the driver side lights. A 10mm nut tool to remove the brake lights.

Hi orijin, can u tell me what I have to modifie the Flasher Normal White/Signal turns Amber - V-LEDS TPE 2 DUAL COLOR WHITE/AMBER 60 M-SMT BULB ? or I just buy it and plug it ??? One more, I read your post about the installation of HID Low light, it seems easy . Is there any different if I want to install the HID High light ?? (sorry, i dont know anything about car, if my question doesnt make sense, just ingore it )Thnks u so much !!orijin wrote:Installation of leds isnt a problem, neither are the installation of the hids for lowbeams, I don't have foglights so im not too sure as to how to change them, i was planning to do it soon once i find the right kit to buy.
I think you're better off going to a custom shop than to drive all the way to ny to do it imo. I'm not in the city currently either right now im currently going to college in buffalo, ny. I wouldn't charge you much for the installation either cause i dont believe its worth that much to install a couple of leds. Just maybe like $50 (a week of gas)
I believe installing leds is a very easy to moderate difficulty diy. The project you had to do required drilling and etc. This project doesn't require much but tools that you can buy and patience. The hardest diy for the project you want to do is changing the fog lights to hids i believe.
Does anyone know what number the map light number is, seems that DE3175 doesn't fit, I would like to replace all interior lights to LEDs and this post stopped before all bulb numbers were answered.vivtri2 wrote:Okay so i got my DE3175 bulbs and they don't fit in the map light socket, like its a totally different set up but one did fit in the dome light socket so i looked online for maplights because the map lights are also DE3175 and i can't find any. can anyone help me?
Yea i figured out my problem. I had bought the DE3175 for the dome and not the map, If you want the map lights you need to get the same bulb with a wedge backside. I bought this one which converts the bulb to a wedgeJerry98vert wrote:Does anyone know what number the map light number is, seems that DE3175 doesn't fit, I would like to replace all interior lights to LEDs and this post stopped before all bulb numbers were answered.vivtri2 wrote:Okay so i got my DE3175 bulbs and they don't fit in the map light socket, like its a totally different set up but one did fit in the dome light socket so i looked online for maplights because the map lights are also DE3175 and i can't find any. can anyone help me?

I don't get it. How DE3175 can be a wedge? DE3175 has only 2 wires/contacts while Wedge socket is for 7440/7443 newer Japanese vehicles. Here's the example:

yea my 2010 rogue s has the second diagram that is shown. idk why but thats the socket type i had.Leo2005 wrote:I don't get it. How DE3175 can be a wedge? DE3175 has only 2 wires/contacts while Wedge socket is for 7440/7443 newer Japanese vehicles. Here's the example:
