Soo cool! Did you hear about the Swedish S14a SR20DET? 885 hp at 2 litres I think, superflow engine dyno. Over 3 bar!9sec240 wrote:I currently hold the record for most HP out of KA-T at 638 whp with the twins S13 I built a year or so ago.... but yes... I am shooting to SMASH that record with my car
I think those are coolant lines for the turbo...The All Mighty KA-T wrote:Motor looks really nice.........
How are you able to run the oil return line up away from gravity's pull and it not get oil clogged up in the oil return line??
I saw some videos of it on the engine dyno.. Nice setup... I am shooting for more HP then that though...Swedish Mike wrote:Soo cool! Did you hear about the Swedish S14a SR20DET? 885 hp at 2 litres I think, superflow engine dyno. Over 3 bar!

I was trying to figure out what you might be asking... I am going to take a stab at this and assume that your thinking that the braided steel lines you see running horizontally from the turbo around the back of the motor are the oil feed and return.. These are actually water lines for the turbo... Ball bearing turbos are liquid cooled.. My return line can sort of be seen in the first picture running down from the turbo at a 45 degree angle towards the pan... I would have to stand the car on the bumper to have gravity try to push the oil back to the turbo.... but... who knowsThe All Mighty KA-T wrote:Motor looks really nice.........

That poor, poor block... It's going to be molested by that turbo...
Wow who knew that a lousy truck engine could beat an RB . I really wanna see this car at the drag strip, could even pop a wheelie!9sec240 wrote:I am either going to make 1000 HP at the crank or blow the motor up trying... I am shooting for 800 WHP thru an automatic....
