Soo cool! Did you hear about the Swedish S14a SR20DET? 885 hp at 2 litres I think, superflow engine dyno. Over 3 bar!

There is a guy in puerto rico with a 700something hp ka24e. This is not the blue ventura starlet, this one is yellow and red. They used to run a short wheelie bar on it for wheelie shows as well from what I recall, the thing was insane.

I dont know if it is still around, the guy is a friend or relative of the guy that runs ventura racing in florida, and I believe that blue starlet is one of his old cars, he had 2 or 3 all with ka24e's full drag.

He hangs out with all those puerto rican oldschool datsun and mazda rx3 guys that run wankels in the nopi drags, you probably know what im talking about.

But anyways, if you hit 850 wheel then your doing pretty good

I was trying to figure out what you might be asking... I am going to take a stab at this and assume that your thinking that the braided steel lines you see running horizontally from the turbo around the back of the motor are the oil feed and return.. These are actually water lines for the turbo... Ball bearing turbos are liquid cooled.. My return line can sort of be seen in the first picture running down from the turbo at a 45 degree angle towards the pan... I would have to stand the car on the bumper to have gravity try to push the oil back to the turbo.... but... who knows

Looks great, man. I have one question.

The Cometic gasket you're using, is it oversized, in terms of thickness? If so, was the block deck shaved to accomodate this?

Just wondering, because I know that an oversized gasket creates a knock-limited engine, and since you're shooting for the moon, you'll need to hit MBT before knock.

Looks fantastic, man. Great job!

Wow who knew that a lousy truck engine could beat an RB . I really wanna see this car at the drag strip, could even pop a wheelie!
