I must know more about what you did to your floor. How much head clearance did you gain? 1 or 2 inches maybe? Are you having clearance issues with the exhaust now?

great looking work so far! just a few things, the 2 parallel bars in the halo bar is extra weight with not much torsional rigidity. maybe just a diagonal bar? and the rear down tubes should of been mounted to the apex of the bend of the main hoop to support the bends. other than that, fantastic work. im not talkin out my butt either. i was one of the main fabricators for a 6 second chromoly drag chassis. did 50 percent of the tig welding and 60 percent of tube fitting and measuring.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, this was my first cage. This cage was more for practice with our new tube bender. Sooner or later this cage will be cut out and I'll make a chromoly one. But thanks for the advice.

All together I probably gained 3 inches between doing the floor and solid mounting the seat.

I haven't done the exhaust yet. But it will more than likely going out the side.
