it is super easy to tell if the tc bushing is shot. it will be the most disgusting thing you have ever seen. like a cracked boil on your grandma's butt. it will be oozing **** on everything. the bushings are easy enough to change with a torch and hammer. i wouldnt buy a new tc rod unless yours is bent/rusted a ton. well unless you go adjustable.

THIS IS MY ONLY SOURCE. thats why i try to get as much out of you guys as possible. i recently joined zilvia.net, will join fresh alloy soon too. to do more research. and now that you mention it, how do i tell if its worn out or not? i know, or at least i think i know, that the tension control rod bushing is all stressed crack looking. the tires i have, not on car yet, are 225/40/18 toyo fz4's. but i have been wanting to purchase two or three conuts so i can practice drifting. someone mentioned that to me b4.

adjustable tension rods... whats the (+)(-) of that?thanks again

still learning

that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm in no rush to buy any mods yet. Still proudly stock except a 350z amplified antenna :)

After being on maxima.org for years, as long as you're active on the forums, you will learn everything, either by curiosity (thus using the search) or by stumbling upon readings.

I think you need to stop dreaming and wasting your time and just get a job instead of sitting and dreaming.

if your going to buy all that stuff why are you going to buy the cheapest, lowest rung of tein coilovers you can find? Get a quality set of coilovers, ie RE and then worry about everything else later.

i was thinking of either the flex or the HA's. and i have seen a too stiff car at an autocross event.it was a crx, and when it would make a tight turn or go arond a corner it would do a three wheel motion LOL. it was crazy looking!

Check out our site. http://www.splparts.com

I suggest the following for a fully adjustable and an excellent handling 240.

SPL Tension Rods - $161

Tension Rods allow you to adjust caster, which affects steering response strongly. The pillowballs give quicker response and near zero deflection unlike a polyurethane bushing.

SPL Rear Upper Control Arms - $222

RUCA's allow you to adjust the rear camber. This affects road handling and tire wear. It also offers the same near zero bushing deflection. These arms allow you to adjust much farther than the 0.75 degrees offered by the whiteline kit.

SPL Rear Traction Arm - $222

Rear Traction Arms help to maintain suspension alignment and eliminate bump-steer associated with lowered suspension geometries. In combination with the rear toe arm it allows for a correct suspension alignment in the rear.

SPL Rear Toe Arm - $199 *SPECIAL NICO PRICING*

Rear Toe Arms allow you to adjust the rear toe. When you lower the car a significant amount with coilovers you'll notice that when you correct the camber you will run out of toe correction. With these rods you can effectively set your rear toe to whatever you like, no matter how lowered you are. They also give less bushing deflection with the pillowball, which in turn creates less toe change in the corner giving a smoother feel to the car.

SPL Rear Subframe Spacers

Subframe spacers are the equivalent to the whiteline "align and lock" kit, only better. Ours are made from aluminum... which is a much better material than whiteline's polyurethane. Ours are slotted to allow easy and quick installation as well.

Nismo Power Brace

The Nismo power brace reinforces the area where our tension rods mount. Giving you a smoother feel in steering and according to several people there is an increase in steering response, and a reduction of understeer.
