Mafs was maxed at 8 psi and the injectors were maxed @ 10psi.

Parts ordered / or being installed

1000cc injectors
areomotive fpr
top feed rail
Freddy intake manifold
q45 throttle body

Going to run e85 and some where between 15-20psi....should be fun. It sucks maxing everything out so quick. The stock turbo manifold will be the next choke point. The car will probably get around the 320-350whp mark and stay that way for the remainder of the season. A s-tec manifold and new turbo will probably go on the car over winter to break into the 400+whp range.

Have all the parts needed to get "ole red" as he named her back up and running again except for some injector clips he needs to get from the junkyard. I'd guess she will be back up and running in a week or so. Here comes the BOOOOOOOST :bigthumb:

Did you ever put it on a dyno and come up with any numbers when you were trying to hit your 300whp goal? I'm curious because I just got my setup running here about a month ago and am already wanting/needing more power. I've got a Z32 MAF sitting in my garage and have been thinking that my first power upgrade will be some brand of standalone fuel management. I'm already setup with a big FMIC, 3" downpipe/straight through exhaust, and a Greddy intake so it seems the next best dollar for dollar upgrade would be fuel management and a good dyno tune. What did you think of the SAFC?

No, it never hit the dyno...it barley hit the streets. I think the injectors and mafs were maxed around the 250-270ish whp area. I would first get nistune, then injectors and a mafs unless you staying with the stock turbo. In that case a safc and a couple bolt ons will be good.

I was planning on going Haltech actually...haven't completely decided though. It just costs so damn much to go fast haha...name of the game I guess haha. But yeah the turbo will be staying stock for the longest of anything I think because to me, injectors, MAF, and a computer would be the most beneficial because a new turbo requires all of that anyhow...

RB25DET
z32 ecu with Nistune
z32 mafs
1000cc injectors
idle fuel pressure @ 20psi
1000cc rochester injectors

Using a z32 ecu to run a rb25 with 1000cc injectors and e85. I've lowered all the enrichment maps, lowered ttp min to 1, resized k value for the injectors and set fuel pressure to 20psi @ idle. Still after all this the car refuses to idle at anything thing higher than 10.5-11.5afr

Played with injector latency and k value with the car warmed up. After resizing for the injectors the k value is 112. I've dropped it down to 50 with no change what so ever. I can play with the latency value and it will effect how smooth the idle is, but afr still stays in the high 10's low 11's......Not sure what else i can do to lean out the car @ idle.

Tried to take the car for a spin and its bucks and spits when under light cruising. AFR stays in the 10's until about 3K rpm when it will finally jump into the 12's. Injection time when viewing in consult is 1.36 - 1.40

Use the type 2 z32 ADR to view the tune
