i would have to disagree, most of the places out there want you to be happy but there are alot of students that come through here thinking their hot stuff and when they cant cut they drop out and just say how ****ty the whole experience was.

Looks really good, but to pricey though maybe you could do for less. Keep your base's loaded don't go for the home run you'll have more business, especially starting out.

That looks great man! Awesome job, that's really impressive! Just curious, how difficult are the s14 door panel inserts to replace? It's been awhile since i've had the panel off and i'm too lazy to pull them off just to look.

Wow....that looks really good.

I plan on using a very similar material, only all black instead of the bluish-grey.

I have an S13 though, and I only want to use it to re-cover the following:

-Door Inserts-Glovebox

I will be replacing the headliner with stock.

I *might* want to do the back seat too, but I'm still unsure about that. I'm not even certain I'll be keeping my back seat.

That looks awesome man. I understand you didn't take pictures and may not have time to go step-by-step for the whole interior, but I do have a few questions.

About how much did material cost?

I have a set of spare S14 seats. To reupholster, do I just take the cloth skins off, rip the seams and make a pattern, and cut the new material out in the same pattern?

How are the cloth skins attatched to the seat?

If I added 1/4" more foam, would I have to cut the new matrial a bit larger than the original, or just stuff the extra foam into the original pattern?

I have a local upholsterer that is very good. I just figured If I sourced the material, made the patterns and cut it out, I could save a lot of money by taking it to him to sew since I don't have access to a machine.

If you can answer these I would be very appreciative. I'm really looking for something to do to my car and don't have much money at all.

Just curious... You do know a decent sewing machine costs less than $200, right? I mean, if you can do all the other stuff, then couldn't you buy a sewing machine, use the work you do on your car as an advertisement and start making money doing other people's cars on the side? Just a thought.

VERY Clean!!!

I really do like the mesh insert...gives it that VIP look as if it came from the factory. Im wanting to do full black leather in mine but the place I priced it at want 275 for each front seat and 375 for the back. I figured I could get nissmo buckets in black leather for like 350 (even though they arent the nicest) and then do the back and save tons...idk though...
