i gotta get a sewing machine for my house before i can start doing orders. as far as how much i would charge would be about $1200 for NICO members, plus im still learing lol and depending on how custom you wanna get the price may go up a bit but what i did to my car would cost around 4k at any good shop.2 front seats i could do for 400 because headrests are a ***** lol.

ps. once agian thanks for all the great feedback guys.

1200 sounds like alot but that would be for everything i did to my car which includes: Door & Quarter panel, Front & Rear seats, Package tray and Headrests.

custom interior costs a lot more then people realize. Its usually not the materials its the skill of the builder.... kind of like at a transmission shop.....

Amazing work, and $1200 is a pretty good price considering the amount of work that need to be done.

I am impressed. I am happy with my S13 interior, but I may be looking to redo my S14 interior. Let us know when you can take some orders. Great Job BTW.

400 for the front seats sounds like a really reasonable price when you consider buying new seats. Would that include new stuffing?

yes cause i think addind 1/2" foam to all the seating surfaces makes it look more full and more comfortable.

+1 for another Tech'r.

A write up on interrior building would be rediculous. It takes massive ammounts of practice to create the perfect stiches. I had friends who took upholstery at wyotech and the standards were so high that the upholstery class had the most failed/dropped students.

Im not much for pretty stuff. I took the chassis fab and high performance engine class. My project was a tube chassis for a ford falcon drag car. Chromoly tubing certified for 6 sec. 1/4s if it was to ever go that fast. Did alot of tube fitting and measuring and building. But i welded about 50 percent of the car.

yes im in norcal im next to concord, walnut creek and Antioch. Ryan i also took chassis fab and i help build a rollcage and i made tubing bender which i couldn't keep i was to broke . this class wasn't actually meant to be for me, i was originally signed up for a new class called performance powertrains where you learn how to tune ecu's, adjust fuel maps etc. but it got cancelled the first day of the phase lol. so i went to this class because it only had 3 other students in it and they were all friends of mine. so we were the original 4 students of the inaugural upholstery class at the Sacramento campus. we also did a car with rich Santana and it will be featured in Rod & Custom. We all got awards i recieved runner up for outstanding achievement.

Very nice. Great to have a class which has all the equipment and to show the techniques.

Provide me the material and tools (sewing machine) and I can do it for $600. Cant beat my 50% off.

personally if I didnt want to do most of the work on my car my self, I would have you do my interior. But as for a almost all failing class, thats the great thing about college, they dont have to make you happy, they already have your money. And if you cant do it right then you dont pass, its that kind of quality control that is lacking in a lot of other classes. my friend told me once that working on cars isnt like your working on an air plane, but what if it was, what if you were responsible for 800 people living or dying if you messed up? You have to pride yourself on doing it right, that way when you do brakes and such the car will stop and you won't have to worry about the 7 kids the mom that just paid you to put brakes on her car is carrying. Right?
