Sorry just did a little more research and found out aristo 2jz's are front sump

Steve- Just read your parts list. It includes a usdm spec water pump. But not a front sump oil pan setup? Are you still running the aristo's rear sump? Also with the ruckus racing mounts did you use the rear sump? What about on your s14, rear sump and all stock crossmember still? Any pics of your custom mounts or are you still using the ruckus kit with custom solid mounts? Sorry for all the questions but I to agree and think that 1600.00 for an install kit is absurd. Especially when you are dealing with cars which dont even blue book for 1600.00 anymore.

yeah, cheaper to find an aristo engine, and then use an r154 transmission. I dont believe ive seen anyone thats used a getrag 6 spd yet, but there could very well be if they have enough $$ and someone who can custom fab.

the kit just makes it easier for people doing the swap who dont fab themselves or have access to it outside of paying a shop to do it. 1500, maybe a bit high, but the kit is very well put together and with the spacers moves the sway bar outta the way so the aristo oil pan doesnt need modifying or anything like that. Anyways i used the kit in my sil, and would again.

I have some questions as well!!! Will the stock clutch line bolt up to the slave cylinder or do you have to have a custom line made?

Hey!! for all those guys that hate me for not sharing the wiring just hit me with and e-mail [email protected] and i'll be glad to share! And im sorry i havn't posted in a while just been busy trying to save up for this swap.. Honestly this transmission is SOOOOOO much smaller in person.. i mean it looks to be almost the same size as the r154 except the fact the getrag is smaller! wish me luck!

The car runs strong but now I am working on getting the Tach and Speedo to work.... does anyone have a write up on this? I am in need of help. I willl also be using the SGI-5 and SGI-8 from Dakota Digital. Any help would be great. Thnx
