I'm actually going to make out like a fat cat because they're covering the 8k in turbo build, 1k in custom exhaust, 350 for springs, 1k in bodykit, 1k in paint and install, 3200 for wheel and tire package. endlinks, sway bar, illuminated kick plates, etc. Thank god for great insurance coverage!

no good deed go's unpunished, eh? Drunk drivers should never be allowed to drive again, period.

I'm glad you guys are ok. Who is your provider and did you insure your custom parts?

Sorry to hear about this, sounds like you will come out on top though, karma came through for you in the end, like you did for your friend. Give your friend thumbs up for not getting behind the wheel, seriously, smoking cigs, and drinking and driving are so 90's!

Wow this is really a terrible story. I would contact a lawyer, did you get that dumb woman's information? You should definitely sue her for the negligence and causing that accident. I imagine your insurance premium will skyrocket if your company is shelling out $20+ grand on this claim.

About all this drunk driving hating... come on thats just silly.

.08 is complete bull siht...

Having a few beers and driving isnt gonna hurt anybody. im totally not down with driving bombed but having a couple is ok.

Why would anybody drive drunk? what kinda question is that?

i live in a decent size city and there is no public transportation, and one cab company. Somebody has to drink and drive. Nobody wants to be a DD.
I really hope this is a joke. I'd like to see how you feel after you've buried your best friend of 15 years because he was hit head on by someone with this very same logic.

Sorry guys... this touches a nerve with me. Quite possibly the most absurd post I have ever seen on this forum. /threadjack

Well ill start out by saying sorry for the loss of your friend.

But what i was saying originally is that .08 is far to low. Ive learned my lesson and no longer drive drunk.

Did you miss what i posted. there are no options in my town. My girlfriend and i go out and we leave one of our cars in the lot at the local Fridays... We have went back the next day any time from 6am to 12pm.

Guess how many cars we see that have slept over in the parking lot? None just our dumb asses. We have to walk down a major highway (freeway) to get home. How many other people do i see doing this? None

The whole set up is all wrong.

I said i dont agree with people driving bombed, but .08 is to low.

Comin over the bridge from the Gahden after watching the Celtics s*** stomp the Knicks and there was a Pole, like the ones you use to tie a boat on a dock, Boston uses them as decoration lol....laying in the street, hit it and went str8 into a sidewalk, more poles and a building...gladly me and my boy are alive and fine,
