My COP (coil on plug) "home brew test"

So, I was always wanting to have someway to test my coil packs by inventing my own method w/o spending a dime. This thing really works, well at least this way, I will try to get a video to show it to you guys how I can make my spark plugs spark with a 14V driller battery, not too strong of a spark but at least tells you they work, well to me. Next step will be an all in one circuit to test all four coil packs with the igniter in place.

Give us a simple circuit drawing or verbal explanation please. I have the Waekon COP tester but not everyone can drop $100 on a test unit. If you CAN though it is a beautiful thing. It will tell you not only if it works but how strong your coil is and what it is putting through to the plug. Very handy for diagnosing intermittent problems and driveability issues. If your in the area or within 100 miles i'll gladly loan it out assuming it stays attached to my arm.

hmmm, this can be arranged, you didnt mention anything about your arm staying attached to your body
