BTW, I have seen people reverse and polish the barrel to make an incredibly low offset wheel - Looks retarded because of the shape of the inner lip.

EDIT: I just realized I've crapped all over Kevin's thread. Sorry man, apologies for the hijack...

These were made in '91 if I remember correctly.

The center caps say Equip, but I don't think they're Equips (although I have seen pics of some old Equips that looked similar).

I'd rather take it from someone who's worked at Work (haha) for a while... Sucks not knowing what model of wheels you have!
I prefer a non stepped lip as well. Infact I love the ssr professor reversed but unfortunatly they only made those up to 16" ahwell that neither here nor there.

I think it's completely feasiable that they are equips, since work like to label a broad range of wheels that, even now....

But, yea they look hot with a non stepped lip man.

that is incorrect.... those are old work equip anhelo wheels. design originally derived from porsche oem wheels of the era. they were discontinued around the later part of the 1990s along with their sister wheel, the equip spritzer, while their sibling the work equip conitnues to this day

I'll be sure to let the WORK USA sales rep know that he's wrong. I just sent him what you said, I'll await his reply.

Greg, this is what he said about the stickers and center caps:

The stickers are $12.00 each. The Meister S1 was designed without using a center cap... so no center cap available for them. Thanks,Jim Wang AKH Trading/WORK Wheels USA

I very seriously doubt he worked at work when those wheels were made, not to mention Work USA knows absolutely nothing, much like Greddy usa or countless other companies over run by "industry idiots".

I'm not saying it's either way, they do look a lot like S1's however, they do not have a stepped lip. Not to mention they say EQUIP on the back of the wheel and not MEISTER. Which would lead you to believe they are not from the meister line, which wasn't around when those wheels were made if i'm not mistaken.

Yeah, they look very similar, and it's really hard to see any detail from the pic Greg posted.

He's been in this business for close to 20 years, so I'd guess he's pretty frickin' knowledgeable, he's been a key in bringing several brands stateside over the years.

Now, that I actually did some research I believe OneTon is correct here is thie link:

http://www.jaguar-atelier.ch/felgen.html

Second wheel down. It has a silver face but is exactly the same wheel (flat lip, rivits all the way around, curvey spokes, and produced in that time period).

Thanks Crimson.

G50 Q, could very well be. The only thing I can tell on Greg's pic is that they're 5 spoke and black, even when I blew it up.

edit: I just love how far off topic threads can go here, lol.
