relocate the battery, get an ebay intake, cut it and instead of putting it going over the hot radiator turn away and have the filter in the area where the battery used to be

That's a start! I've seen people start off with worse. There's only a few cosmetic issues so it's no big deal. Is the car running now? I'd say f*ck the SOHC rebuilt and find yourself a SR.

-Teardrops = stock S13 wheels, i see no reason to spend money on stock wheels, unless theyre 350z/G35 wheels of course.

Stock rims are great to have if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow fall, like me. I would never drive my car in the snow with aftermarket rims.
