why, are you suppose to run without it? the first one has one wire, and the second one has three. i figured since im putting all this time into it i might as well get everything hooked up that i can. plus i dont know what itd run like without it, so thats the main reason. its gonna be weird having all of these vacuum valves on my car again. i cant wait to start her up and drive the bltch. oh yeah, i got all of the charge piping totally complete, and the intake complete. now all i gotta do is those 3 gauges, mount the catch can and run the hoses, mount the megan fpr, and fill her up with fluids. sooooooooo close.

That 2nd O2 sensor is just there to verify that the 1st O2 sensor is working. Its not gonna effect driveability or tunning. It will set off you engine light if its not hooked up.

yeah, the valve cover was like the first thing i ever did to the motor. thats because it was free and when i first got my 240. took a good 6 hours, and some really sore hands. i used polishing wheels and compounds to do the actual polishing. wait till you see the pics i post up wed.

yeah after shes broke in and not till i get a vlsd. robert, i did all the piping. i got one of those 8 piece universal piping kits off ebay for 130 shipped. came with two straight, two 90s, two 45s, and two 30s. all i used were the two 90s, and the two 45s. the cold pipe and maf part consist of two cut up 45s. i was actually impressed on how simple and easy the piping was on this car. the hot pipe side i didnt have to cut nan nadda pipe at all. the 90 coming out of the turbo i already had with my itb setup.

it doesnt take that long. get the 45s, measure them, take them to the chop saw, debur it, and clamp it in. how is your piping coming out of the intercooler? the whole cold side? my entire cold side consist of one 90, and two 45s. and the battery has to be in the rear as well. get those and it can be done.

I tried to do it with the flexible exhaust tubing from autozone and it worked great except one spot i needed a VERY sharp 90 deg to finish it. And since that tubing cant bend too much, i was not able to finish it. I know how to do it, i just dont have the welder to weld the pipes up where needed.. Were u able to do it without welding any pieces..?? If so, i would like to see which pieces u used.

yeah man, no welding at all on these pipes. cept i am gonna get the 90 coming out of the intercooler on the cold side welded to the first 45 connected to the maf. just because of the fact its one of those shltty rubber couplings the kit came with, and i was gonna get some more silicone couplings but i figured if im gonna be spending any money at all on that spot i might as well get it tig'd. but for now its coupled till i can get it welded up. post some pics of your engine bay and piping. wheres your battery at?

This is my engine bay now

THis next pic is where my maf is now.. that was a VERY QUICK blow thru setup...

But i would like to get the maf mounted above the battery tray.. like urs is...im gonna be gone all next week, im flying out sat morning and gonna return friday night so i guess ill check out your setup next sat night. But if ur telling me that all u used was one 90 and two 45's.. without welds... then ill order the bends from JC whitney and cut them to fit and get the couplers... Like i said i tried with the flex exhaust tubing and it was almost done except that one spot i needed a straight 90 and that flex stuff only flex's so much so i had to scrap that idea and throw it where u see it now...
