Tino: Thanks but I dont think it will make any magazines anytime soon. I dont think its quite got what it takes for that level yet.(ie bodykit, fancy interior, stereo that sort of stuff)
nismodave: Not sure yet still need some final tuning and I am still on the KA fuel pump(awaiting delivery) I plan to get it dynoed before I start modding the motor and I will post then.
Just another 240: Thanks
I dont think its nice enough to travel that far yet. I am in San Diego. Dont know if it ever will be. Trying to build it for drift and track/daily driver.
Holisticbeatz: With Mckinney's kit it really does look natural. I believe it actually sits a little lower than the KA. Mckinneys used their isnstall kit, 1 piece drive shaft and the actual RB harness so it is very clean. These guys have mastered this install I think and they are starting a RB26 install on a 14 this week. I tried to get them to put it in mine but they said it would be to hard to explain to the other customer. Oh and if I did race someone on the street they would know what happened when the turbo spooled. Mckinney's is located in Santee, east county San Diego CA and the best part about 5 min from my house.
S13Owner: I have the JIC FLT-A2's, JIC F/R strut bars and it still handles awsome on stock rims and tires.(have the 5lug parts and skyline rims just need to install them) The wieght is pretty close between teh RB and KA but I am not sure exactly. But to answer your question I have noticed no change in handling after the swap.(but it is easier to get it sideways)
About the price it is not cheap to do the way I did but I did not have to worry about anything. (bad motor, blown turbo, or any of the wiring nightmare people have that try this on there own. And the service and quality was great. They are great shop to work with. For more info on them go to
