Nah, I like showing it off... Even still though, no one sees it. Doesn't make a big difference to me though.. hehe.

I have a GReddy front mount.

Thanks guys. This is just the start for her so I will post my progress. May be a short time with no updates (gotta get more money) But I am looking into a turbo/fuel/computer upgrade. So we will see. But I will post what ever I do as I do it. Again thanks for your thoughts of her.

I got mine through Mckinney's with the install. They sell it or know where to get it. Took like a week to come in.

hashiriya13 do you/mckinney have to modify the Blitz intercooler kit pipings to make it fit with that stock rb25 turbo and/or the greddy header? if so what kind of mods has to be done? are there any extra piping needed besides the kit?thanks

well, it has a custom hot pipe, and modified cold pipe, so yes, i would say the pipings are custom.

Yes. The hot pipe is was made by Mckinney and the cold pipe hade to be modified to fit. But remember this to fit the GReddy IM. The blow off is on the bottom side of the hot pipe. Contact Mckinney's if you need more info.

you said you used the greddy intake mani. we just ordered tihs for john's car (98) and are waiting to receive it (4 weeks to get here from japland :(). It requires the Q45 throttle body made from 7/90-8/90, a one month period. The list price on this throttle body new from a dealer is over 600 bucks. What did you use? Did you hack the stock tb on there? We're going to modify whatever we have to, to get the stock one on, because that's a rip off. We found one at my friend's salvage yard, for 200 or so, which we might go with, but not quite sure yet.

well that is definitley an awesome ride, congrats man, i cant wait to see some numbers, i always did like the sr2o, but man, that just makes it so much harder to want an sr instead of hte rb, i know if someone were to get one INSTALLED from daunt, itd cost 39oo with everything, so thats half hte price, and i wouldnt be looking to mkae MASSIVE #rs, so id probably go with the cheaper sr and just hope i didnt see someone with ur kinda balls at the track ;), i wonder if that would fit in my altima, hell, itd still be a 2.5s!!

Thats cool, I like it. I hope mine turns out this nice if i go with the rb25. Do you get any traction at all with those stock tires?

Sorry guys I have been away and not online for a while. I will try to answer everyones ?'s

StephNic: I used the Greddy IM with an adapter to be able to use the RB throttle body. I will most likely change to the Q45 later. All I have to do is take off the adapter and put it on.

nlzmo400r: Thanks. No nubers yet but hoping to get some soon. Well good luck on your swap when you decide. Oh and with the correct amount of money any swap is possible.

bob marley: No I did not get very good traction on the stock rims, but it was very easy to get sideways. I just completed the five lug swap over the weekend and put some Skyline rims on with 225 Drag radials on(I had them so might as well us them) so it is better now.

J-Spec Tuner: I am using 91. Best I can get here. SO far no problem but I am on stock boost as of now.

ITR_KILLR: I am planning on getting a dyno run soon and stock boost is 7psi. I will post the dyno sheet when I get it. Talking with gary at Mckinneys we figure it should be 250-260 at the rear wheels maybe moe maybe less we will see. And the 8 covered everything.

I think I got everyone. Well thanks for the compliments on the car and There should be more to come soon I hope.

how much boost can you run without maxing out the stock inj, and turbo? what power could be expected from stock inj, turbo, ?? I know what i could do with 8G's and an SR, trying to see the potential with an RB;)

Not sure yet but I have seen post on other boards (i think it was in austraila) where they have taken teh stock stuff to 15 or 18 psi but not sure of the power. I think they were saying it will put it over 300 but not for sure. Like I said I just remeber reading that somewhere. I will Know for sure soon (I hope) and I will post my results good or bad. Got nothin to hide. But The intial cost is higher but I think in the long run the Rb will end with more power and allot more torqe. But it just matters what people want.

i think it makes sense to do an RB if your power goal is higher than 400whp, i could do a 400whp SR cheaper than a RB, but when it comes times to do internals on an SR, the RB can keep going, making the RB more "cost effective"

and dont forget braggin rights;)
