Ok here she is my new 95 200SX SE-R already got a lot of work done to her as you can see in my signature but my goal is to restore her a bit. I need to get the transmission fixed (5th gears gone), and fix the rust. Then after that I want to get a carbon hood, a nice repaint and get some 17's on her. Then maybe a couple years down the road turbo??

Haha I feel that!!! I love both my Nissans I would like to add a B13 SE-R to the collection some day, but I need to finish up my B15 for show season and get the 200sx in daily running order then to show shape late next year.

Nice SE-R! I thought I would never see someone else with a G20 engine in their 200sx other than me! Have fun with the build, I have similar plan for my SE-R!

lol yea the G20 motor is one of the reasons why I bought it my buddy at work had it sitting in his yard for 3 years I was talkin about what I was doing to my sentra and he overhead that I wanted a 200sx SE-R because I was nervous about doing a B14 ECU in my sentra so we got to talkin and he told me what he did to the car (which is everything down below in my signature other than the Clutch) so I offered him $400 since it had a bum clutch and a screwed up 5th gear. He sat on the idea for about 8 months then took it!! The motor was a swap and he had only put 4k miles on it after he put it in. The motor was outta a G20 that was totalled and only had 70k on it (got the receipts ) So i feel like I got a steal! Anyways I got a question has anyone ever used the JGY T25 turbo kit on their B13, B14's I was just wondering how it worked out and how much WHP they were lookin at after they installed it??

UPDATE!

Finally getting somewhere on this car. I have located a transmission and will be putting it in soon. I got all the wiring issues from a crappy aftermarket alpine security system figured out so the stock is now wired up and works. Got all the missing interior pieces and installed them. And last but not least I finally got my stereo equipment installed. Got an issue with the brakes though right side is only side that works on the rear. Left side is a no go but I'm gunna have the shop look at it when I bring it in to get the check engine light looked at since they are the ones that installed the brakes less than 20 miles ago. Thats it for now.

Well it appears when stuff happens to me it happens all out. My sentra is now sidelined with transmission issues (blown input shaft bearing and metal shavings floating around) came out to be a $2300 repair but its getting a new Infinity P11 transmission (couldn't find a regular b15 SR20DE LSD 5 speed). Also something else good came out of this my mechanic has in's with a junkyard that also happens to have a 200sx se-r transmission!!! 200sx will be road worthy soon!! YAY!! :mike

I think this is an uber noob question, but what size tires do you have wrapped around those 18s? I am going to put 17s or 18s on my 200sx sometime soon (hopefully) and have been wondering. Thanks!

Nah not a noob question actually I get it alot even just driving around. Anyways if your go on http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/wtpack.jsp you can see what size tires go with what size rims for your specific vehicle. As for my tire size I have 18x7" rims with 215/35-18 tires.

well the 200sx is all done and registered! I'm dropping it off today to get dropped 2 inches on some megan racing lowering springs. Only issue it has now is it seems that the input shaft bearing is bad on the junk yard transmission that I just had put in :tisk: oh well anyone have any idea of how much just replacing the $10 bearing is after the transmission is out???

Looks pretty good man. I almost bought a 200sx way back in the day. How many trannies have you gone through with the car? How did you make out with the last one?

At nis: The rides decent definetly better than I thought it would be. Its little bouncy and it needs an alignment now but I can live with it for how sick it looks. The springs are megan racing 2" drop springs and I got them for $140 shipped on ebay.

At smurf: I've gone through three total, the old owner killed 5th gear on the original so it was dead then I actually got a bad one from the junk yard and now I have a rebuilt new one. The rebuilt one is workin out (as it should it cost $1600 but has a 3 year unlimited mile warrenty) only issue I was having was the clutch was noisey and making a clickin noise because i didnt break it in right but now that its getting some miles on it the noise has gone away. Car only has two more issue to fix and thats the check engine light and it needs an alignment bad. With the check engine light its for the rear o2 sensor because im running a high flow cat and a hotshot header so im gunna be making a custom spacer outta some 12mm exhaust bungs and a 12mm x 1.25mm adapter from autometers and weld it all together and screw the 02 sensor in the end of it.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Josh

Well I got my buddies code reader today and plugged it in and it brought up a P0705 code or Neutral switch malfunction (I thought for sure it was gunna be a o2 code again) so I cleared it for now and if/when it comes back I'll have the switch replaced. So unless the rear o2 sensor code comes back again I wont be doing that o2 spacer. I did however clean up the motor so heres a pic!

Well its official the 200 is getting turbo'd just bought a used setup with the manifold, j-pipe, turbo elbow, oil lines, water lines, intake piping and fuel rail plus a Garrett T25 turbo from the U12 bluebird (needs a rebuild though). Also got two tuned program files for my moates burner for my calum ecu for N/A and turbo and burned them on the chips. Cant wait to put 7 psi boost into this mother and see what she can do. :ohno:

Come on now, Don't forget to upgrade your Suspension by adding some new shocks and then {maybe} a sway bar and a F/R strut bar. :mike You did a fine job with the engine cleaning and detail. :dance Good luck with your Turbo as I hope it will throw you in the back of your seat. :eekdance :shifter: :eekdance

Funny you should say that I did order some new KYB AGX shocks and they are goin on this week lol. Got sway bars on it already but I do need the strut tower, rear trunk brace and was thinking about a whiteline 4 point under support. Car already throws you back in the seat with the new tune from calum but it should be insane with the turbo seeing it should give me about 50ish extra whp. :naughty:

UPDATE!!! Well got the new shocks on and they made a huge improvement in the handling and the ride quality also fixed the transmission sensor issue I was having. I got the turbo/manifold/j-pipe etc. in and should have the intercooler all the piping and the blow off valve in later today! Also bought four JDM nissan bluebird 370cc injectors (got a steal $50 for all four shipped! :chuckle: ). I'll take some pics of everything later and throw them up for ya'll. :dblthumb:
