My $850 240SX

Well, while in the process of pulling everything apart today, I have found more rust than I expected. : ) Well, not really, hehe. There are some rust problems, but it won't be too bad off, I"m just gonna cut that whole section out of the rocker panel, its all getting fiberglassed anyways, so I'll just cut it all out, probably weld in a bit, bondo, sand, primer, and then fiberglass. Theres a bit of rust on the passenger doorskin, so I think I"ll just replace the whole skin, its easier that way and the whole thing is getting a paintjob. Theres a bit of rust on the front fenders, but, um, those are getting replaced too. : ) Basically, the frame is in good shape and thats the only thing I'm not touching, so we're good to go. : ) For 850 dollars, I'm gonna have to say its a pretty damn good deal. Although another 240 might be coming my way, so I might just fix everything on this one then sell it for like 2000 bucks. : ) I don't want to just sell it outright because I have no desire to anger the Nissan Gods. I'll wait a bit and see what else they have in store for me. : ) As we speak I'm getting all the pin stripes off, the electrical tape is gone, I'm cleaning everything and I'm getting ready to cut out all the rust and seal it all for now. Thats why I'm not living on the boards today. : ) See you guys later!

Oh yeah about that car. That guy must be a moron or somethin first he says he's gonna sell it. Then he went down on the price cause he said he really needed to get rid of it and now that I found a buyer he's nowhere to be found. What a jackass!

daunti have an 89 240sx and it seems i have the exact same rust spots as you , and i want to fix all body work before i drop an sr, but im not to experienced in rust ive read alot of **** and the only way i can get rid of it seems to be cutting it and replacing it wit a sheet o metal weld it in then bonda it and..i dont even know can you plz , post what to do with rust , like whne are you doing the fiber glass over it and ****....thxplatinum240sx
