I don't see what the big deal is. Light car, Sweet Engine, Low Price... What's retarded about that? I bet his car will be faster than all of you guys who are bashing it. If you don't want to mix brands, don't put in any aftermarket parts. End of story.

it sounds like you didnt do your homework. a 2jz is a inline 6 not a v6

Hmmmm..... Sounds like someone hasnt done there homework. For your info the 2jz is a V6 which is one big factor that happens to make it a better motor than the Rb25 and Rb26.

can you explain the cuts you made to the crossmember?

and how you decided on that angle!?

what did you do next... drill holes for the bolts that stick out the motor mounts?

more explaination would be a big help.

Im so confused. How many different 2JZ's are there? Whats the difference between them?

An RB26 is an RB26. Sure there was a 6speed on the 34, and the 5 on the 32 and 33 but its all the same.

Mabey someobody could explain?

Have fun stomping RB's! They should have just advertised the 2JZ as "$1 Per WHP, Step right up!"

SketchyRollin564 wrote:^ what you talking about willis? Im not a fan of inbreeding, but if your gonna do it, atleast keep it with the same country.

Sure the LS1 is a great engine, and in the S chassis is really fast, but i was never ever a fan of it. I just think american engines in japanese cars are... dumb.
LS1 is cool, I like the 350 or 383 swap myself...You can twin turbo a 350 for under $1000 and pull upwards of 700-1000... GHETTO SUPRA Ive also seen a machine shop by my house do a 454 into 300ZX, now that is just EEEEEEEEEEEEF'd up. Did anyone mention the 13B into a 240 yet? Thats a good one too.

^ woah you just said a lot of things that I wanted to know

tell me more about twin turbo 350,

the crate motors arent hard to come by... and for turbos were looking at gt30's? ( or anything with similiar lbs/min )and they're carburated so no engine management!!!

that was most intriguing.

13B into 240 hasn't been discussed what the hell is that.

want me to start a new thread and we can go at it? they're some real expert fabricators that could get down on this.

how bout a 4g63 and make that b*tch AWD!!! would need much funds but hot dam that would just be insane!! after having a fully built sr(cost me lil over 12k using gt35r turbo kit), i have decided to do the 2jzgte swap on my orange coupe. i already have the 2jzgte just need to get all the parts and begin the swap.
