So yeah still burn gas, but the 300-500hp V8's have made huge improvements.

By the way OP, clean car don't worry about the dents, its a first car.

Hey thanks...Yea i know about the dents but I'd like to clean it up abit because i want to paint it. Probably going to either stay with the Grey, go black, primer black or white....Don't really want white but it looks good.. More or less looking into the stock Grey and black/primer black..But thanks for your op

STFU man you're always trying to rain on somebodies s*** around here...so the f*** what you got your 240 for $650 i got mine for $200 cuz it had a f***ed up rear bumper...OP nice car and if i were you i would pull out the dent more the best i could and just sand it down buy some rust fighting primer and buy rear overlays because i know in the future you will want some and bondo ehh not your good friend but thats just my opinion and for $1100 not a bad deal at all post some interior pics

Haha finally a little update...My photo bucket isn't working so i had to figure out how to use flickr..but enough of that..So Yesterday i removed the rear interior of my car and checked for rust... [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] At this point i was freaking out lol didn't know if it was rust but i wiped it down and look at it now..Its got a little rust but its a easy fix [IMG][/IMG] I also stuck the camera back in to where the qp dent is [IMG][/IMG] In this hole... Ok well its not a pretty site but i think i can get into the wheel well and hammer that out [IMG][/IMG] Closer pic [IMG][/IMG] Yea i know there's some rust back in there but im going to take care of that when i do the body work. I also got on the ground and took some pics of the frame. [IMG][/IMG] Ha you can see my leg in this one [IMG][/IMG] Well that's pretty much the update as of now...Thanks guys more to come soon.

u know u could just make both sides symmetrical, just kick a dent in on the otherside

j/k i would never do that to a 240

Wow $1,100 dollars... that's a hell of a deal. That car has a lot of potential, and at least it was gray not a 90's maroon color like mine. I agree that overfenders would probably be the easiest way out of that one. And they're probably a lot cheaper.

I've done my share of bondo and sanding and all the junka trick that really helps is have some one gently but with some firmnesstap around the area of the dent with a rubber mallet for a few minutes, or do it yourself then work quick but this actually starts heating the metalthrough friction, long story short tapping the dented area with a rubber mallet makes it easier to remove your dents

best of luck

This looks like its coming along really well. I just picked one up today that is the same color and has a big dent on the rear qp where someone backed into it. But I'm not trying to fix mine, im parting it out.
