a few years ago car has a electrical issue so car stops running randomly while driving. i took apart all wiring and turbo parts.
look at exhaust manifolds. xD
i find some ford cougar manifolds so i think it will be good as a rust replacement.
start doing ls coils swap so no more distribuitor.
relay and fuse box for MEGASQUIRT and other stuffs.
another relay/fuse box to control not related EFI stuffs(lights, cluster, windows...)
right now, i have all stuffs for s13.4 front conversion but i didnt notice you need a front conversion fenders and not oem s14 fenders. i will not do conversion till end of year so i will buy s13 to s14 fender conversion and attach items.
rfid start button
wiring inside is all new but right now isnt finished. i will not put tubing hose yet because i always forgot something . once its all good, i will take apart dashboard and start doing tubing hose.
using dodge stratus dual fans. they fit great and have good speed.
dont look at tie straps. will be replaced by an aluminum rectangle.
exhaust manifold right side + v-band. i cut runner 1 and mod to fit properly and weld v-band in good out angle.
3 in downpipe. very tight fit. not running mod in steering rack.
dual wastegate setup . main green wastegate is set at 10 psi. secondary red wastegate is set at 7 psi. it will act as quick spool valve. all exhaust flow will be sent to one inlet in twin scroll turbine. once boost reach 7 psi, red wastegate will open flow so second inlet of twinscroll turbine will be used.
this is done to spool turbo faster and make torque at low rpm and get good flow at high engine rpm.
i hope this time finish this car. im glad i can drive this car again.
i have this nissan for work , its a ka24de+gt35 @14 psi . it made 342whp. its in good shape. i buy almost 4 years ago. this car was done quickly. almost 2 years with turbo and no issues.
it drives fine but its not same. its heavy, feels heavy.
for testing, i have a little shop. i was tuning nissan obd1 cars since 2011 but dyno is working since march 2017.
i have some dyno graph (virtual) to compare to currently setup.
