So after owning my 240 for 4 months and it sitting in the shop for a month after having it for only 2 weeks i now have pictures and all that.

first off i like to thank my friend Daniel who owns Diligent Automotive Service for helping me do everything i've done to my car.

ok so after selling my turbo turtle ( 98 VW jette tdi) i bought my 240 from a person i thought i could trust who assured me that everything was ok, maybe a few little things here and there like mounts. i saw the person and car run everyday and it sounded good and eveything, so i said we'll get it looked at to make sure, but since i was on a time crunch and being too anxious and excited to by my new 240 ( for 1000) i just bought it without the mechanic looking at it. sure enough the car was only running on 3 cylinders and i took it a shop and they said they would fix it for around 800. i got offered a motor from a friends friend for 400. i bought it. received it like 2 1/2 weeks later it was seased. the only reason i excepted to buy it without getting it right ther and then was cause it was take it or leave it now and i got a free fujita intake while i'll waited. and i mean free cause my friend gave me the air intake and said i could wait to pay him after i got everything done. needless to say, he aint getting s*** now ( and no i didnt know it was seased when i gave the money) f***ing douche

1400 so far

so i met dan i paid 150 to get my motor pulled and i got do be there and do half the work. he reintroduced me a high school friend of mine who i bought his old ka from for 280

1830 now

he charged me 300 to make a good motor out of the three motors and install it. and agian i was there to do half the work. pulling late late nights and getting up at 6am for work the next day sucked but i learned alot.

2130 now

so now the car runs strong and i cant wait to complete it. working full time and making minimum wage, its gonna be awhile but ill get there

before

during lolDan having the pleasure of taking off the wanna be pignose lol

after

we drained, cleaned and refilled the diff and cant find where its leaking so over the weekend hopefully we'll find it.

its a sick exhaust but with the cat and resonator is not very loud. which is good

as for the ebrake thing i dont think i like it either, its too big

im glad the hood scoop is gone too. everyone hated it. but now i gotta get the body work and paint done cause sparkly dooky brown aint workin for me. plus that white duck foot print on my hood dont look so hot either. then the sexy will fit wth the name as for the hood scoop being a shovel, i could try to rig to be snow plow for ya lol but sorry to hear about the snow.

oh and uh..f*** you ILoveMyRHS13

it was a crack valve and when we checked crankshaft end play it was off and a bit messed up it in there. but the head is rebuilt and we used one of the other blocks to put everything back together with
hbpignosePA wrote:if your paying a shop to do all this, maybe this isn't the right hobby for you?

no i dint pay a shop. i paid my friend who owns a shop and i did half of the work with him. the reason why i said his name and the company was to get the name out there for him. i didnt pay the 800 to a shop i took it to first. instead, i bought the other motor which was seased which i guess i should fix to keep more peoplefrom getting confused. i know some of the things i did was dumb and i learned from them but it doesnt mean that d!ck heads who think they are cool, big, and bad should just say negetive things. just shut your mouth and if you dont like whats posted dont say anything.

and my story is a short version of what all went down not word for word but what basically happened

to everyone else, thanks. just thought i share a story. Constructive Criticism is welcome. not s*** talkers

lol so the car defines the owner?

long story short aka clifnotes:

dude buys salmon colored s13. friend generously hoses him with the big one. car still ends up KA powered, owner gets irritated that someone made a crack at his "240SeXy" title, PA people call it for what it is, other mod chimes in, MGE posts.
