one to start is i cant get the dam transmission fill bolt off its like its been welded on there. we tried wrenches, pb blast, vice grip. it just strips. any sujestions?
If you can get the drain plug out do that drain it all the way then fill it from the shifter. Just remove it from the trans, measure and fill from there. Download the FSM for the quantity and specs

Nice start. I like that you helped out. Too many people pay and leave. Its good that your trying to learn. Dont feel to bad about the money you spent. My first 240 I bought had a blown engine. I had never fixed a car b4 in my life. I got my girlfriends dad and her uncle to help me swap the engine. I just bought them dinner. But, I did get raped in the butt with the engine I bought. I paid $900 for my used junkyard engine. It has run like a champ for many years, but still. Now I find them for $200-$300 all the time. Live and learn.

Good start. Keep wrenching away.

PS: only question I have, is that a catback exhaust, or did you just put a big muffler on a stock pipe?

lol so the car defines the owner?

long story short aka clifnotes:

dude buys salmon colored s13. friend generously hoses him with the big one. car still ends up KA powered, owner gets irritated that someone made a crack at his "240SeXy" title, PA people call it for what it is, other mod chimes in, MGE posts.

/thread
There is no long story, it's all short story. You did forgot the part where mod chimes in without pointing fingers.

i dont know why you guys bash on the KA yea its a crappy motor NA, but so is the SR20, add a turbo to any motor and all the sudden its a great motor! IMO get over yourselves!!!
