I might sell this car or trade it before summer ends.Maybe even have it parked outside for awhile since I might get another car.I fixed my car got it running a ticking noise won't bother me.Sometimes I think it's a bad idea asking a question here.
It's not that man, it's just not. People that own and drive these cars enjoy their high standards of performance and safety, but this is contingent upon high standard of maintenance.
People are ragging on you here because you're performing modifications to a car that it doesn't require, that hurt it, before spending that same time and money on ensuring it DOES get from point A to point B...today, AND tomorrow.
I used to have a prelude I loved. I spent tons of time and money on the stereo system, the suspension, wheels, tires, accessories, and then 5k later the engine blew and I had no money to fix it.
I have not spent a dollar on my Q except the CIMA grille outside of the shop manual. This ensures every dollar I am spending (on this depreciating asset) is at least well-spent.
We're just looking out for your safety, the safety of others on the road, and the car's well-being.
