Ok, what does everyone think of this pricing.SL FWD, leather, tech, prem, moon roof, nav. Invoice of $33,625 + $780 destination charge = $34405. Price that I would offer is $34,146 which incledues the destination charge. Do you think that's a good offer?

Ok, sorry for another message but, anyone ever use straightlease.com before? Here's what they quoted me:

SL FWDtech pkgprem pkgleathermoon roofNavigationsplash and cargo MSRP $37750Selling price $33905

Lease pmts at .00154 mf is $457.39 for 39 months.

$2913 out of pocket of which $1095 of it is shipping, the rest is 1st mo, tax tag, fees. Any opinions to this? I have a hard time with the shipping cost but the cost of the vehicle sounds like a good deal. Would love to hear your opinions. Thanks!

Hi, i'm new here. Anyway just went to price out a 2009 Murano and and going back tomorrow to either OK or say no, depending on financing. Do you think this price is good?

2009 Murano SL AWDLeather/Premium PackageTechnology Package

MSRP he quoted was $36,5xx, he met my internet deal from another dealer at $33,600 which included TTL. I have a trade in that brought it down to $30, 600..I did also ask if he can knock more off and meet me anywhere from $28-$29,000 and he met me and quoted $29,000 which includes TTL. Is this a good deal? I'm just trying to get the best deal that I can. Thanks!

I would think that you could probably find one closer to you and avoid the shipping charge. Also, that seem like quite a bit down on a lease, personally when I lease I never put down more than $1000 at signing. If you drive it off the lot and total it, you are out basically whatever cash you put down. Good luck!

I had a 2006 Infiniti FX35 that was at the end of lease, and after looking at the '09 Murano, couldn't justify the extra $10-$12K for a new FX (given the current economic conditions!) Nissan has done a good job of enhancing the Murano.

I leased a new 2009 Murano LE, Deep Sapphire (Blue) exterior, black leather interior. Options included were: Navigation Package, Dual Moonroof, Splash Guards, and Floor Mats. MSRP was $40,495 including the $780 Destination Charge. My price was $36,091 plus TTL. There were no dealership add-ons. Did a 36 month lease and the lease factor equates to a 3.7% interest rate.

I asked several local dealers for bids via email, and this was the lowest price by about $900. The Nissan dealer also agreed to handle the lease-return on my Infiniti FX so I was able to drive away in my new Murano. Total time at dealership was 2 hours. Very professional, no pressure in the sales area or in the finance office. A pleasant buying experience all around.

The Murano seems to sit a bit higher than my '06 FX, and ride is quieter and smoother. So far I'm very satisfied. I really like the fact that you can use voice activation to enter an address into the Nav system WHILE MOVING!

kimchee15, that sounds like a decent deal but the true power of the Internet comes from being able to shop multiple deals easily and pitting dealers against each other. Reach out to other dealers and get them to give you quotes as well. Being in a large city like Houston there should be several dealers within driving distance that you can get quotes from. After that it's only a matter of selecting which one offers you the lowest price with the options that you want.

It is possible to do further negotiations once you go in but it's much more difficult at that point unless you are already very good at negotiating. I think a lot of the Internet sales managers will expect you to pay the price you agreed to via email. If anything, you should be careful that they don't ask you to pay more by offering you rust protection packages, special fabric coatings, miscellaneous fees and the like. That sometimes turns some very good Internet deals sour on arrival. Especially since many use the Internet to deal because it is a much easier non-pressure environment vs being "on the spot" in the dealership.

Just bought a Nissan Murano LE

Black on Beige- Splash Guards- Sunroof- Floor Mats- Cargo Area Protector- Illuminated Door Sills- Black Roof Rail Cross Bars- Navigation- Permaplate- Window Tint- Wheel Locks

The dealer said they lost $700 on the deal. What do you think? Did I get a good deal? I got wheel/tire insurance because I've been hearing about the difficulty tracking down tires for $8/month.

MSRP - $41,060Purchase Price - $36,100

Came with just over 350 miles on the car. I refused to take one with over 1000 miles with similarly priced.

I'm always one for buyer's remorse...so input is appreciated.

I've been looking in Dulles (Northern VA) area and that's a good price for a "new" car - you got some off for the mileage (musta been a demo)

What does the tire insurance cover and who is is underwriter?

I couldn't imagine taking one that was over 1,000 miles. The tire insurance was written off AutoNation - i guess they have like 370+ stores in the US. I'm told they reimburse any tire repair for 5 years, excluding normal wear and tear. I'm told it also covers replaced tires. I guess it's a reimbursement setup.

Safe-Guard Products International is the Obligor/Administrator.

Still wondering about the deal though...

Isa that your out the door price with tax tags etc? I bought my 09 LE in April of 08, and got a great deal, partly due to the inexperience (or feigned) begavior of the salesman and mgr. After my clearly pricing out the LE, at the F&I desk I saw a paperwork jacket with "SL" on it, I went a bit off on the dealer for pulling a switch which he denied. He then said he couldn't sell me the LE for the price quoted and I got up to leave, adding I'd be telling everyone I knew what happened there...

It was a first for me to see the sales mgr sweat He tried telling me the SL was the same as the LE as I had it configured (loaded except for the DVD players in the headrests). I disagreed.

I ended up financing a total of 32K having given them my 04 Pathfinder in trade (with 4K equity).

After a year of driving this beauty I know I made a good deal. BTW, did the tire deal include protection for the rims?

You got a good deal, no question about that, but I don't believe for one minute that the dealer lost any money on the deal. You truly did get a good deal, I would have passed on the tire insurance, but then again, $8/month isn't terrible either. Enjoy the ride and welcome to NICOclub! well after a month-ish of looking and dealing with internet sales agents, I finally picked up my new Murano. Here is the deal that I got yesterday:

09 Deep Sapphire SL AWD

Black LeatherTech/Premium PackageMoon Roof

This Murano had an MSRP of $36,537...A bit of some haggling and a trade in I got the Murano for $30,876 out the door. Myself I think I got a good deal and I love this car...

New member, new Nissan owner. I picked up my (more for my wife) new 2009 LE (Graphite/Gray w/ Black interior) yesterday.

Options are:MoonroofIlluminated door sillsRoof rail cross barsand basics like Splash gards, Floor Mats, Cargo Area protector

MSRP was 38535.00Price paid was 33,704Final price after title, admin fee, and them having a remote starter added (they split the cost) was 34,301. They didn't install it, they use a place that they've approved, seeing the complexity of the starting options on the LE.

It had around 400 miles on it, and I was told it had been in their inventory for a few months and they wanted to get it sold. Got the 2.9 finance rate, so overall, I'm real pleased.

One question I have is if I build this vehicle on the nissan website, or do new vehicle pricing on edmunds, the MSRP with these options is 39,925.I'm not complaining, I'm looking at it as getting a close to 40K MSRP for around 34K, unless I'm missing something.

Hi - I am trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a 09 Murano SL AWD with a MSRP of $39.5k now or wait. I've negotiated a price of $33.5k which I believe is a good deal (dealer is trying to meet end of year target), but don't really need the car until end of summer (I am coming off of an 06 Murano lease at that point). I believe the 2010's will come out in the end of summer time frames and am wondering if the group thinks a better deal will be available at that point. My current thinking is that it will be a cash deal. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Thanks

You mentioned in your first thread that you purchased a 09 Murano LE:

...2009 Murano LE

- Nav w/Music Box- Dual Panel Moonroof- Splash Guards- Floor Mats

MSRP: $39,920My Price: $35,400...

PLEASE let me know where/who you spoke to. I'm in Cincinnati and am going to the dealership tonight with my husband - they said they can't go any lower than $37,310 - obviously they can, so please help!!!!! Also, they drove to go get the car in the color we wanted, but does that matter if I change my mind?

First off, welcome to NICOclub! Glad to have you as a member of the Murano Forum!

I ended up purchasing from Rosen Nissan in Gurnee Illinois. Woodfield Nissan in Schaumburg quoted got down to $35,500, Rosen beat it by $100, I then sent an e-mail back to Woodfield, but they stopped responding, so I purchased from Rosen. Brad was the internet guy I bought from. They did have the exact vehicle I purchased in their hands, that makes a difference. Good luck, keep us posted as to how things turn out!

I finally purchased my 09 Murano SL silver with premium pkg.

I think the price was somewhere around 26660, and the final drive out price was 28800. What do you guys think? was that a good deal? I really liked it because it only had 10 miles on the car when i bought it~

Have 3 choices for the Murano right now..

1- Murano SL With every package except Navigation.. Lease price = $435/month inckuding tax (only problem with this package is its practically impossible to find the SL Loaded With Black on Black. I can only find them with the tan interior and im a very outdoor person and it would look filthy inside in a month.

2- Murano LE With everything except Navigation.. Lease price = $498/month (I can find the LE in any color I want)

3- Murano LE with Everything (40k msrp).. Lease price = $518/month

All the lease prices above are including tax based on 39 months with 1k miles per month and no money down except bank fee, plates, and first month payment.

If i go with any of the the LE's I would probably also get the Tire/Wheel insurance for $700 (fully covers me on tires and wheels) Supposedly they bring and put on your fresh tire the next day. I live in nyc where busting a tire in a pothole (expecially low profiles) will happen 3-4 times a year on avg. Probably gonna go through 8-12 tires through a 39 month lease. So i think the $700 would be justified, and I also like that it covers the rims.

Any suggestions?

Unless you are seeing tax advantages (ie your Mo will be used for business purposes) by renting, my suggestion is to save up to make a down payment and just buy your car. Even if you can't save the full price and have to finance, rates are very low these days. But the big advantage is that you have something to show for your hard earned $$ after you receive the title a few years down the road.

JM (and most financial advisors) HO, of course.
