Depends which way the wind is blowing. I usually do a trip from Dayton to Cleveland once a month or every other month to visit family. It's 400 miles almost exactly round-trip. If I have a tail wind, I get about 27MPG. If I have a headwind, right down to 24MPG. Both at about 73MPH. And yes, I sometimes plan my trips around the wind direction and speed. Especially when flying. Can save a TON of gas.
I have the car in Standard mode 90% of the time. Eco is a joke. Sport mode only if I know I want to have a little high-revving fun, but I usually just use the paddle shifters for that anyway.
