I read another thread discussing gas mileage and it seems the hwy miles are almost identical and sometimes surpassed by slow, steady driving in a 3.5 vs 2.5. Where the big difference comes in between the 2.5 and 3.5 seems to be in the city. I think with your good driving record and 25+ age, if you were doing mostly hwy driving, the 3.5 wouldn't be much different than the than the 2.5. But it seems to all depend on how you drive, where you drive and cost of insurance that needs to be factored in (also, wheel size and width).Plastics wrote:I have had my Black 3.5 SE Coupe CVT for 1 and 1/2 months.

It get great mileage on the hwy at 60 mph, but not too good around town.

I don't think that is true. If it's recommended I don't think it voids it. It's only when it says it's required that it may affect the warranty.Miss_Lanaya wrote:I'm pretty sure that if somthing happens to your engine and it needs repair work, the delaership will test the fuel in your tank.....using anything less than the recommended fuel rating has the potential to void your warranty
My dealership told me they put regular in when the car was delivered to me and I did not have to use premium gas. But I still use premium.Miss_Lanaya wrote:I'm pretty sure that if somthing happens to your engine and it needs repair work, the delaership will test the fuel in your tank.....using anything less than the recommended fuel rating has the potential to void your warranty
