Moving to MI..........

I'm looking to relocate from AZ to MI, I just bought a 3500 RAM and going to put my S13 SR on a trailer and go, but is there a scene there for 240s or what? I know not like phoenix but I hate to sell her after ALL that I did...

why would do sell it if there wasnt "scene"? IMO i would keep it, I woundnt bother with what the other people drive to fit in.

not like that dude, I must also consider that even in the summer, the roads there SUCK!! i just came back from there, other than highways, my suspention is just too stiff there...... I don't care if I'm the 240 driver there, it's the enviroment that doesn't suport such suspention set-ups

Bart is moving up there, and yes, the roads DO suck. Maybe just keep the car as a track car?

Also the roads aren't that bad, it just depends on where you go.

They have D-town. You can google that. Plus, I know you said you own a 240, but you didnt mention if you drift. They have drift events there called "drift dont ya know". Also, they have grip tracks there if your into that. Im in WI so i dont know about the night life with cars there, but there are people there. My buddy travels to MN to do grip racing on there tracks. I will go next year for the drift events. As far as your personal comfort goes, thats your choice. I have a super stiff suspension, and my city has super sh!tty roads. But i dont mind it. It pays off when i want it to. Plus you learn what roads to avoid that are really bad.

going to southeast, going back to finish school, then who knows where. Most likely Ann Arbor or northville, lived in detroit long enough to know not to go back there. I was thinking about strippin' it down for track only use, we'll see what happens. AND I DON"T DRIFT, all autocross baby!

Northville is really nice but kinda expensive living, same for Novi & Ann Arbor... Walled lake is close and a little cheaper to live. Check out the regional section of Nico for MI

I live in the thumb of Michigan during the summer and go to school in Ann Arbor in the fall/winter. I've seen like 3 other 240's in Ann Arbor besides mine, lol. I have no clue if there's a drifting scene, but I have a feeling there's lots of racing going on at night. Lots of rich boys in AA with brand new Evo's, Wrx's, Audi's, and riced out Honda's, hehe.

i live right by northville, in plymouth actually. i have 2 240's, both with coilovers and all that. yea, it kinda sucks at first, but i got used to it. theres not many of us around, but there are some....maybe 15ish in the southeast area

I like the Idea that there will be a bad *** S13 there with very few 240's. But it's not like I see them all the time in Phoenix, and most are just so ragged on and distroyed. No offence to the nice ones, but i think the clean 240's stay home more.
