Buy a Supra MAF from a 1994 - 1998 and sit it as close to the turbo as you feel. Thats the solution to your problem. Hope you get your project completed.
My issue with the Supra MAF idea is this, do you actually know the votlage range? Nissan tuners love the N62 because it tried and proven to work. Your idea while inventive, does not have the experience behind it to convince the masses. However, if the voltage range is the same it should theoretically work.

Do you have a VE table for that MAFS? If so, does it directly covert for use in a Nissan ECU?

I did lots of research on moving the MAF to the cold side of the IC piping.

There was lots of people that had a Z32 MAF moved to the cold side, and it worked great for all of them.

I also found som info on taking out the sensor from the ca18det MAF and mounting it in a tuned size pipe (with altering the ID of the pipe you can "tune" the AFR according to bigger injectors in.ex.). This was done with the MAF in the stock location.

With todays cheap engine management system (nistune) I don't see the point of that, but it made me think of one thing.

Why not take out the sensor from the ca18det MAF and mount it in the IC piping (about 1` from the TB). With that you can use what ever IC piping you want, you don't have to buy a Z32 MAF, you can have what ever kind of turbo intake system you want (none at all if you want to).

You will need a few hours of tuning thoug.

I will test this once I get my ca18det running (not happening any time soon :p)

the coolant banjo fittings for the 16g are the same size as the ones for the t25g.....I just re-used my s/s coolant lines that I had on my t25g. Length wise, I think they are 27-30 inches.

The oil feed line i used is a -4an and is 24 inches long http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NOS-15230NOS/

The adapter fitting that I used to screw into the ca block adapter is a -4 to 12mmx1.0 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EAR-9919BFEERL/

The turbo side oil feed fitting I used is a 12mm to -4 male banjo fitting.....I got it from the place i bought my turbo...http://store.forcedperformance...rboHW

Looks like the turbo's are still on sale too.....$499 http://store.forcedperformance...Turbo

Power, i'm shooting for 280whp......we'll seeHope this helps......

Yes the voltages work. I know many people using this set up with the Supra MAF. I never heard of it till I was on a forum. I did some research and testing and hoopdang! It worked perfectly. I have been working with people to install these for over 3 years. It solves all the problems. Supra did a fantastic job in designing a MAF with no loose ends. +1 for Supra. NISSAN + TOYOTA = GETSOME!
