here's a couple:"In the DVD edition, Rob Cohen tells the viewer that the racers don't have speedometers in their cars, because they don't have time to look down, but in the first race Brian pulls out laptops, presses buttons, reads graphs, all of which are on the passenger seat! "

" In the 4 car race with Brian, Dominic, Eddie and the Asian guy, Brian blows out his passenger side floor plate after using the second Nos burst. But when he picks up Dominic to escape from the cops, Dominic sits comfortably in the passenger seat."

I don't get it.I loved the movie, just because it's inacurate doesn't make it suck.I mean do you see people go?"Well terminator 1 and 2 were the worst movies because there are no robots, and that liquid metal guy is way too fast,i don't think in real live anyone could run that fast".But no one sais stuff like that, because movies are there to be fun and not to be acurate. If you want acuracy then watch a documentary.I for one can't wait for f&f 2,because i know that watching it won't make me a riceboy or anything. And it'll be fun.I kinda feel like back in high school when them dorks were tryin to find mistakes in 1 consoles games to make they console seem better, and they spend all day arguing about it,instead of just enjoing them damn video games.Geez.Seems like every week there's a "F&F sucks" thread if you guys don't agree with,me tough luck, don't flame me for my opinion.

we've had this argument so much already. who cares what other people think of the movie. if you personally like it (not directed towards anyone, just the reader) then you can watch it as many times as you want. those who dont' like it because its so stupid, inaccurate, and ricey, then more power to you, but we can't *make* people understand why we hate it so much. lets just let the subject die. the F&F is an old movie now, and F&F2 is already old news to me, and its not even out yet.

Okay... so lets turn this into the "Best Car Movies of All Time" thread!

My votes:

1. Death race 2000 (One of Stalone's crowning achievements)2. Cannon Ball Run (1 and 2... both are great)3. Smokey and the Bandit (love that TA)

That's all I can think of.

How about the part when Johnny Tran Had that old guy in the Garage and was complaining that his SR20's were not in his Honda S2000's. I think that The Fast and the Hilarious is a more appropriate Title Don't you aggree. The Japanese Call it "Wild Speed" in theaters in Japan.

"Where are my SR20's?"

Put up there the movie Thunderbolt, it was a movie with Jackie Chan in it, with tons of super imports, a term that i like to use for all of the expensive cars, well you get it, anyways, loads of evos, skylines, supras, rx-7s, gtos and such. I love it, and it isnt rice. Hard to find on DVD and VHS, i only have it taped from TNT. Oh yeah, the first gone in 60 seconds, and bullit, and vanishing point, all of those were movies that my dad loved and got em, i used to watch em everyday when i was in my domestic phase.

That Jackie Chan movie would have been better if they hadn't sped up the race scenes. They had some nice cars but it just got annoying after awhile. Mad Max had some pretty nice cars in it. The black Ford Falcon with the blower is sweet.

i got one thats not on there. In the scene where they show the insides of Doms RX-7 engine there are 3 rotors instead of 2 and they are spinning the wrong direction.

I noticed just one mistake in the movie, it started right after the truck left the dock and the guy called it in up until Dom was driving through Mexico in the Chevelle. Other than that great, Oscar winning stuff!:pface

Nah, its just un informed idiots, who know almost know nil about import cars, the scene, and the culture really. I am almos positive that most all of us on this forum could have done a bettr job, given the time and money. And maybe they were high or drunk, bu that would bemaking excuses for them.

what's the difference between a wire fighter in a kung fu movie jumping across rooftops and a self repairing 16 stage nitrous floorplate ejecting Eclipse, it's just goofy fun.:)

No difference, BUT F&F had bad acting, a bad script/dialogue and weak story. The movie would have bad even without technical errors.

I undestand why so many people hate what the movie has done to our culture, but It was entertaining even exciting at some parts in combo with the music etc.

I honestly wanted to like F&F when I saw it, but it was awful. And that has nothing to do effects our society. The couple of entertaining action sequences couldn't save F&F from sucking. FNF is similar to Striptease. Striptease had an attraction like FNF's street racing. Who didn't want to see Demi Moore naked? But the Striptease was also was so bad, that watching Demi Moore dance naked could not save it from sucking. I'm glad some people loved F&F. That's fine. But then again there are people that liked Striptease or Freddie Got Fingered....

I dunno,i liked how dominic and his gang were like a big family, and took care of eachother. How they spent their days working on cars and partying, they don't seem to have jobs really, that's what i want,no job and lots of fun.And by the way what's wrong with freddy got fingered?I still got that song in my head"Daddy would you like some saussage?Daddy would you like some saussages?"Anyway,we all got different tastes, besides if they made the movie real how many rice boys do you think would've watched it,with no clear lights or laughing gas? It's all about the money. The producers just wanna make money i guess.I don't mind,i don't like the star wars movies at all,and yet half the planet seems to worship it.

:D

Freddy got fingered rules! "Look at me, I'm a farmer I'm a farmer"! My wife hated it but her Mom thought it was hysterical, my mother-in-law is kickass:)

TMS: I'm surprised. You, your mother-in-law and Jaeger are the first people I've come across that enjoyed Freddie. I had rented it once and couldn't get thru it.

Actually...the scene where you fly through Dom's engine is completely inacurate. First off...it shows PISTONS....then it shows a CAMSHAFT! Really makes you wonder what actual "research" the writers did when comming up with the script.
