RE: R33 X-member + NISMO isolators FTW!
Stock turbo has about 1/2" clearance from the steering shaft. No complaints.
I could only assume RB since they came with my half-cut, direct from Nippon. Honestly, I don't know.
No mount kit. I will tell you this though. DO NOT get rid of the S13 ATX transmission bracket. You can make the 25DET transmission bracket work. But it takes a while and is a royal b*ch.
My engine fits well in (no interference with turbo), but sits _very_ high. I did not re-drill or modify my engine mounts in any way and my TB just _barely_ clears my hood, but then hits on my cross-tube for my FMIC. (so I have to dent my pipe in a bit, and I'm not too thrilled about this..)
If I had to do it all over again, I would either modify my R33 mounts (to lower engine back and down) or get the Syko kit. (provided I kept my RB and did not go KA-T or LSx..) If it works as advertised then it is worth it. The R33 X-member is considerably stouter than the S13, so keep that in mind when selecting a mount kit. I also modified a SR20 downpipe for my setup. I had to rotate the 'in' flange and lengthen it.
So far, just about everything done to my car has been one-off...
Feel free to email me if you have any more questions, or if this was rather disjointed. :-\
