I have been getting my Q (90 standard) back on the road as seen here zerothread/243086. The motor is From NAD in Atlanta and was in stellar condition. Used the new/used injectors off my old motor. My plenum hose kit off my old motor, used/new O2 sensors, etc off my old motor . I got it fired today but its idles really rough, cleans up about 2k. What should I check? My MAF is the same one that ran in my old car. I would really like to drive this car so any imput would be nice.

I also changed the AAC valve because it is different on the US manifold so the plugs are different.

Do you have a vacuum leak? What have you checked so far?

Is the idle rough or unstable? IE does the motor shake but idle at a constant speed, or does the idle jump up and down.

I did have a vacuum leak at first but found what I had left unhooked and it did not seem to effect it much. It shakes alot and slowly will die, sometimes it just gets real low ( like 3-400 RPMs) and real rough and not die. I forgot to hook up the 6 prong knock sensor harness at first but did hook it up without resetting the ECU with no change. Do I need tp unhook the battery to reset the ECU for it to read the knock sensors? As far as checking things I was real careful when hooking up everything on the TB as I left out some things when I did my plenum hose job on my old motor so I do not think I left anything unhooked but I will check again tomorrow.

Is there any difference between the US and JDM throttle body?

Nope. TCs and standard TB are only 2 versions.

Exhaust manifolds are different.

Anything else I should look at? The car idles at about 3-400 rpms and seems to run real rich.

Well I got it to idle steady at 7-800 RPMs today but it still shakes quite a bit and smells like it is runnin real rich at idle. What would be the probable cause of this?

Did you swap over your injectors or ohm the ones in the replacement motor?

I used/swapped the ones from my blown motor that I bought from Pop. They were working fine when the car blew up about 2-3 months ago.
