I was just wondering if anyone has used JGS precision motor mounts, the rubber ones or the urethane ones. They are pretty reasonably priced. and any thoughts or opinions on JGS?

I just bought and installed JGS' urethane motor and transmission mounts. The engine is not in yet so I cannot elaborate on how well they work, but I can say their customer service was great, the parts were shipped with the quickness, and they are great quality. There is a picture of the MMs installed in my car in my build thread if you would like to see them installed:

ashiba, how stiff are the urethane compared to the rubber and stock ones. I know you've only had a few miles on em, but do you think they're bearable for a daily driver?

well i think theyre a little stiff, but honestly i would roll with the rubber ones for a DD, my car isnt a DD and i think that im a whole lot more forgiving on harshness than most, hell i think my car rides great with a full suspension arm set, slammed coils, and pretty stiff mm's. oh and JGS will give you the info you need to replace the rubber inserts with urethane if you want to down the road instead of buying another whole set of mounts which i think is fantastic.

I emailed JGS about some turbo stuff last wednesday, haven't heard anything from them, and the site hasn't been updated in years, I was under the impression the company had gone bust. You say they're still going and have great customer service?

i last dealt with them about 9 months ago and from the sound of things on their end they seemed to be alive and going pretty well, they had great cust. service from my experiences. I seriously doubt that they have went belly up in that time frame as they do more on the side of tooling and machine work then car work i think
