They've held up to 400hp for nearly 2 years. Less vibration than the stockers, and I got to set my engine mount height.

I've got all the stuff, and I've been meaning to ask you how you measured the correct thickness to make the mounts...

Who said anything about center of gravity???

You may have not had issues with any clearance problems but other have, this is why i'm researching before i buy.

i dont ant to lower my motor being my car is a dd, but i can see the benefit of lowering the engine for pure racing purposes, lowering the center of gravity of the car, much the same way most serious racers use bottom mount manifolds on there turbo applications, to keep the weight lower on the chassis

have you ever put your car on corner scales???

have you ever installed a turbo kit then re-balanced your car on corner scales????

it WILL make a difference to a SERIOUS race car, it wont make or break the car but it will help if the car is balanced properly

and no you wont be able to feel a difference, you will be able to read it on the lap times, you wont have as much weight above the centerline of the car so you wont have as much weight to keep in check during transverse movement of the vehicle

but none of that matters to the OP, nismo mounts will be good for his application

But honestly, ask yourself if anyone on this board would be able to feel the difference in a turbo that is one foot upwards as opposed to 1 foot lower?

No, they will not.

I am sure that it won't make much much if any of an affect on lap times.

The argument that you are mentioning I agree with. But honestly it's more of a race on paper and not actuality.
