I just got the Cusco/Peak Performance combo but didn't get a little sheet telling me how to put the mounts on. Anybody got any directions? or a place where I can go to print 'em off?

They are engine and trans mounts...The two engine mounts go at the lower part of the engine attach to the engine mount brackets and then to the subframe underneath. The trans mount is mounted under the car under the trans, all of the mounts are very easy to change...

Not a very great way to start here at nico.

Did you get the Peak Performance trans mount? If so which one, the "Street" or the "Race" one.

I know they are developing engine mounts too so I'm waiting on those.Let us know how you like that trans mount after you install it.

Peak Performance motor mounts aren't even out in the market yet. They are much like the Vivid racing mounts. Aluminum shell and bushing inside, gold color. I saw a picture of the prototype on their website.

Very easy to change?? Maybe at a shop with a lift. Took me two days and a torch to do mine.

Left and right look similar, but they are slightly different. Also if you turn it 180 degree, it still goes in. I got confused big time, but finally I figured out. Just pull out both engine mounts without labeling them and try to install new ones not knowing which one is right or left. You will get confused too.

Haha! Sorry. I messed it up when I edited it.

"if you turn it 180-degree, it still goes in."

Some of you guys already know if you swap engine mounts left and right, CA seats lower in the engine bay. Mounts will go in anyway, but you have to put them in right way.

All you need is a jack, engine hoist, and some hand tools, took me about ooooooo 25 minutes to do the engine mounts. About 3 minutes to do the trans mount. Might need a torch if the nuts are rusty, but, that might add about 15-20 minutes to the job. I wonder why it took you 2 days, never even heard of anything like that. Although, some people arent as good with their hands as others. I work on cars all the time, so I guess maybe I have more experience...I dunno why it would take any longer than an hour or two max, thats if you arent equipped with the proper tools or something like that. But, good luck to everyone.

OOOOOO threadjacking, i see.

wow, a tourch to change your motor mounts, , undo the two motor mounts, replace with the two new motor mounts, the transmission mount goes the same way, use a jack to support/ lift the motor/ transmission, jesus come on yall, this is not rocket science, i just installe da rb26 into a customers s13 in under two hours, how r u going to tell me it took you two days to change motor/ transmission mounts, wow yall should apply for the nissan special olympics, haha, . its a 30 min max job yall! no tourch required!

your usage of the word "yall" make you sound unintelligent, and I seriously doubt you did an rb26 swap in 2 hours. unless you mean just bolting the engine in, and not hooking anything up

^he has been running around being a douche on alot of threads. i highly doubt its "his" shop as he is only 20 and i also highly doubt he put in a rb26 in two hours, but no point in calling him on it im sure he will stick to his story.

lol, yea your rite, im lying, i have no clue on how to install a motor in a 240, jezz...... n yes two hours is way more then enough time, lets see a empty engine bay, drop motor in, 2 motor mounts, and four transmission bolts later wow the motors in, wiring is two plugs, one into ecu and the other into the dash wiring, oh i forgot the 2 fuel lines, i dont have a/c or pwr steering so yea id say a lil under two hours ios good for me!

and the yall is from me being raised in high springs, yall is used more then id like it to be, and yes being a forum a$s isnt what i am, the as$ part is from other people bsing in posts n then me callin them out. n your correct im just a 20 year old kid, what could i possibly know?

rofl, you talk about people bsing but your still sticking to the 2 hour engine swap story . i'm not saying an engine swap is crazy hard but an rb26 swap is NOT plug and play and a simple bolt in affair

Ha Ha. Two hours, Yeah right. I may have stretched it a bit when I said two days, my car sat on jacks for two days because I had to go get the torch to blow out the fd up bolt. Probably actually took me 4 hours from start to finish. Anyway, I will say it again, unless you have a shop with power tools and a lift, this is not easy to do on the ground with hand tools. Two hours, cmon!
