its is a 2 step, not the cars real rev limiter. That M3 would have smoked it once they got going.

The GSX is a sweet car and the owner seems to know what he's talking about. He said in the thread that they were being facetious about the M3 and that they would both like to have one. He can work on his own car, and I didn't see that the car had clear taillights.

I was thinking the exact same. Why modify a car if you're not going to race it? I don't agree with racing on the street, but what exactly makes the kid a ricer? The fact his car is faster than probably EVERYONE'S on this board? The fact that it looks really stock (exluding the huge intercooler) and really clean for an eclipse?

I don't know why you think he's a ricer. I think it was a phat ride. Props to him for concentrating on go over show (usally the opposite w/ dsm owners). Oh, and to all you saying that the "m3 probably wasn't trying," its not true. If you would have read the post, you would have read that his car was boosted up to 18psi and runs 11s. And 11 seconds is at least 2 seconds faster than any stock m3, and judging by the race, he was winning by about 2-3 seconds.

1. I didnt hear a turbo spooling, or a BOV. Just an angry bubble bee.2. He says "my dad is gonna be pissed" which means his dad, not the driver, paid to modify that POS. 3. He raced an M3, and acted like an ***, a true car enthusiest should respect another drivers desire not to race, and be respectfull of the car they are racing.

The M3 owner is looking away from them as they are talking about racing him. Plus the M3 didn't accelerate very fast at all. If that was an 11 second DSM (which I doubt because it seemed to accelerate pretty slow all things considered), it still would not have wasted an M3 by that large of a margin. That thing was in the background immediately!Now I could be wrong, but the whole thing seems like BS to me, and their whole "M3s suck" sounded ignorant, not sarcastic. They both sound retarded, even if they are putting on an act. Its the presentation of the whole thing that makes me not believe. None of it adds up.:rolleyes
