[QUOTE=s13sr20chris]my little ricer apprentice is always making the bov type of noise with his mouth especially while driving. its so goofy.

I have a PA installed in my 240 and it has many times a day which it is needed. On this subject though everyone thinks I have turbo now. Everytime my friend is with me he gets on the PA and makes a bov noise everytime I shift. So far 7 people have asked if it's turboed. All 7 were ricers with the wing you can see a mile away. Don't forget them stickers too.

haha thats a good idea, tell them you have a turbo and pop the hood and ask them which piece of metal under there is the turbo. you know there isnt one under there, but its fun to see what they point to...

The CB radio I got for free. PA cost me $13 then stuff to make my car "redneck" to make the CB work properly in a sports car cost me about $50.$16 Cable 15 for the antenna and 13 for the mount and the $3 for the power cord. I bought a $65 mic for it to not needed thought for PA only increase sound when talking on a channel. I played along with them once and the guy thought my alternator was a turbo......luckily my phone rang just as he said it and we had to take off. I was speechless when he said that.

I was at the track tonight. while my car was on display in my sponsors booth, I was asked 20 times or more if I had a sr20 in my altima.

a couple sr20's will pull a premium.

Thats pretty good..... I still like the idea of getting a can of compressed air, and have a button in the cabin and say you got NOS.....

HEY! I do that all the time and I know what I'm talking about. Instead of burping I make little "pssh" noises and I run around the house making acceleration, sliding, braking, back firing, and blow off noises. I'm a 22 year old law school student. yes, there is probably something wrong with taht picutre.

Some guy was driving my car, and as we were conversing, he said "is this car rwd?" I said yes, and then the jackass goes "yeah, I can tell by the way it feels..." Right...

I was at a car show with some friends, and we were looking inside an engine bay of a turbo'd car, then one of the guys says: "Is that the turbo?" He was pointing at the air filter... I just laughed after that.. haha.

And then there was this one guy who was convinced that the sr20de had titanium internals.

Yeah, high school sucks. You get a lot of posers who think they know what they're talking about.

you should have told him it was front wheel, he probably would have said the same thing. then when he did, say no it isnt i was just testing you, the reactions when you do stuff like this are to die for.

Actually, you can. He might not be able to, but you really can.

Nah. He already knew it was rwd. He just wanted to sound smart. He was also intent on buying it(at that time I was intent on selling it), but he ended up flaking out. Thank God.

I've been in my friends SRT4 and its pulls nicely. Looks like its got straight pipes from the factory, or atleast thats what he says. He also has a Miata and likes it more than the SRT4. Can't beat RWD.

My old boss, who drives a 200SX SE. he has and underdrive pulley--WOOAH!!! He's got Maxima envy. We talked about cars a lot at work (we were the most common closing employees...lots of free time) he's said a lot of stupid things. I was telling him I'd like to swap a VE30DE in and throw the Stillen S/C on it. "No, dude. You don't want Stillen. Stillen makes Honda parts!! They don't know crap about Nissans! Don't go with Stillen, you'll regret it." Mmm.. hhhmmm.

Then, he was telling me about his Sr20 swap that he's going to do (yeah...right) and showing me his fart can and telling me that it's not as bad when its on a Nissan. "Plus," he says, "It doesn't sound like a ricer." It sounded like a ricer.

The he was asking me about my car "So its got, what, a 2.4 liter right?...Uh...the K...ka24?" Yep dustin. My Maxima has a four cylindar.

Definition of the word poser.

i have to agree with him there i like my dads miata a lot better, especially since its scca road racing prepared, that makes it even better.

however, he was wrong that it was a straight pipe, when scc installed a new exhaust on their project srt-4, they showed a pic of the exhaust, its so complex and not straight that it creates too much back pressure without a muffler, so thats why it doesnt have one. they dont have a pic on their site of it, but check out the august 04 scc and you can see the picture.
