So I just got a 94 240sx se. It still has a ka24de. So I am looking for ways to get the most HP to the wheels with 1000-1300. What parts could I use to get as much HP as possible with this budget on his car? Thank you.

That's not gonna take you very far. You need to set a goal based on what you will be using the car for and start saving for that. Gotta pay to play.

With $1300, that's enough for N/A bolt-ons which really don't do sh1t except fool ppl who have never driven a fast car into thinking they have a fast car because of all the noise it makes. If you want real power and speed, you need more money.

BUT! If you just wanna have fun... $1300 is plenty. Pick up a cheap ebay 3 inch exhaust, test pipe, 4-2-1 headers and a cone air filter. Thats about $550 there maybe.

Then pull your crap open diff out, weld that sumbich and install 4.636 final drive ring gears from some junked Frontier or Xterra at the salvage yard. And while you're there, snag some spare 248 duration cams and run them on both your intake and exhaust side. Maybe another $100 here for the labor to weld your diff.

Top things off with a grabby clutch and aluminum flywheel for maybe another $500. Won't be powerful, but it will be responsive, peppy, reliable as hell and will get you sideways really damn easy. Maybe about 155hp to the wheels. Keep in mind that most stock 240's dyno about 120whp.

Just my opinion. But if I were you, I'd target coilovers and wheels first. Then start saving for real power adders and not waste money on N/A crap.

Simmode speaks the truth. The way to make power on a KA is boost, and boost is not cheap. Follow what Simmode said and you'll have a pretty fun car. I'd skip the welded diff and go for a VLSD, but thats just me.

I used an exedy stage 2 clutch and 11 lbs Fidanza flywheel. But that was yeeeeears ago. Might be some better stuff on the market now. Either check the Marketplace for Vendor specials or google info on the White Bunny clutch... Its a mix of cheap OEM clutch/flywheel parts that will hold like 400hp to 500hp for relatively cheap.

I think there are some vendor who sell it as a package so you don't have to hunt down all the White Bunny parts yourself...

High flow air filter
Ebay header
Exhaust cutout in place of cat
50-100 shot of nitrous
Injectors
Tune.

Nitrous is king of cheap speed. I'd rather spend 3x that on a turbo system, which I did. But you asked for budget speed.

The clutch (if its a stick) should hold up a little bit as long as you don't launch it with the spray. Clueless about the auto.
