Dude!

I knew it was a solara before I got to the bottom pics.

Mmmmmm, if they only made the solara RWD. This would be the only new car I would need.

I feel in love with them when they came out. Especially non-verts. omgggggggggggggggggggggg

Yes, I know there's a "Q" in there. I didn't feel like deleting it, so I typed this long winded excuse instead.

I like the looks of the SC300/400 (Soarer, :chuckle: ) Coupe. I think comparatively these two cars resemble each other. I enjoy both.

Besides, the solara also comes in a 3.3L V6. Add sunroof, fix jacked up a** end on the non-vert, slam on 19's, add boost, and.....

The SC300/400 is Nice looking, minus a few goofy Lexus details (quad headlights).

First-gen Solaras are far easier on the eyes than 2nd gens. 2nd gens, though, are a plague of horribleness.

As for the Solara's 3MZ 3.3 V6...it's one of the worst I've experienced. It's harsh and crude, sounds absolutely terrible, isn't particularly powerful, feels constantly overworked, drinks too much gas, and really doesn't do anything particularly well. Next to the likes of the VQ30 or VQ35 or J32 or even Toyota's own 2GR it just falls on its face. The Japanese are famous for silky smooth, refined, effortless fours and sixes. The 3MZ is none of those things. It's an engine you'd expect to find under the hood of a 90s Pontiac, not a Toyota.

I'm not just picking on your opinions here, though. This is stuff I've said many, many times right here on this forum.
