More power?

ok i have a 93 hatch automatic what can i do to add more power cheaply like a chip or a turbo im not looking to drag race just get more when i want it. my engine is in the picture the guy who works on it told me its the same one nissan used in there trucks. i now its not the original engine. If you want to turbo your ka, you want to make sure all the vacuums are in good shape, and make sure you have good compression also make sure you don't go over 8 PSI with stock internals, if your engine isn't in really good shape adding a turbo will only make it worse

A header,or a proper cold air intake might be a good start.

Could also hot swap the cams from a different KA for a little more scoot.

Swapping to a shorter ring and pinion could help keep you in power better. I know the autotragic trannys have long gears. A 4.11 or 4.36 would be nice in a street car.
